The latest development version over at the google code site (
http://mobilecast.googlecode.com/)  supports password protected feeds. It doesn&#039;t prompt you for passwords, you have to enter them as part of the url eg:
http://my_username:my_password@some.feed.server/protected/podcast.xml

@Brooke - we&#039;re still working on the search function, hoping to have it working in the development snapshot shortly.</description>

Brian, for the next release  of mobile cast we are planning on adding a search function that will simplify the discovery and addition of feeds. Today you can add rss 2.0 feeds or import OPML.
