Organization

We are doing some work on AppleiPhoneSchool.com, trying to make it more organized and user-friendly. We will do our best to keep everything working correctly while we update! You will begin to see tons of new apps added to our categories listed on the left side of our webpage…so keep an eye out for that. I will keep you updated as we make changes!

If you notice something is not working correctly, feel free to email us at info@appleiphoneschool.com

Thanks!

  1. Hey Doug, I don’t know how much experience you have in the area, but I think it’d be a great idea to make an iPhone version of AppleiPhoneschool.com (like the whol facebook deal). I’d love to have the ability to visit the site on the go, but it takes forever to load the current version of your site. Haha, most of the time safari crashes when I try to load the site on the iPhone. Just a thought.

By the way… serious props to you and Brooke. You’ve been doing a great job holding up this site. … Don’t worry about not doing the iPhone 101 videos enough… the fact that you don’t have time to do them just proves that you actually have lives. Haha, unlike all of us constant iPhone bloggers!

  2. Oh, and one other thing… The ability to reply to each other’s comments would be sweet too. It’s kind of annoying to have to go through all the comments looking for someone’s reply to my comment. Just thought I’d throw that out there for you guys!

  3. We have the ability to make our website work for the iPhone. It’s a wordpress plugin. The catch is it’s one or the other… I don’t know how to let you choose. Then you couldn’t see the icons on the side or other things. I’d like to figure out how to make the plugin only work when you go to let’s say, appleiphoneschool.com/iphone or iphone.appleiphoneschool.com. Now that would be sweet! The plugin is called iWPhone. I will check and see if there is an update or a tweak we can do. I will also check into some other options for commenting and see if the will work with this theme. Thanks for the ideas!

  4. im not sure why, but theres a video of doug using ziphone 2.4 to jailbreak a 1.1.3 on youtube, but that video isnt here!

  5. also, you could have used the ziphone GUI with ziphone 2.4, why didnt you? and does anyone know why ziphone takes 2’30” with command but takes 4’00” with the GUI??? thanx

  6. @alex_dlc: They videos are now posted here. YouTube is just faster at encoding. The GUI version was not posted on ZiPhone.org at the time I jailbroke my iPhone. They should do the exact same thing.
