Beijing 2008 Medal Tracker

Available In: App Store       Price: $1.99

Beijing 2008Beijing 2008 Medal Tracker is as simple as the title suggests. It tracks the top 5 couries in Olympic medals. You can also set your favorite team to track at the bottom. The biggest downfall of this app is the cost. At $1.99, this app is only good for 14 days, then the Olympics are over. I vote pass on this one and check my earlier review of iOlympics the web app or try SportsTap from the App Store.

  1. off topic but I didn’t know how to tell you. There has been a really cool update to winterboard but I don’t quite understand it and was wondering if you could do a review

  2. You can pretty much get the same results by visiting mobile espn to veiw medal counts for free.

  3. Just another little tip regarding the medal counts: If you aren’t interested in an ap and just want to keep up to date on the medal count, the official Olympic website has a medal standings page at:
http://results.beijing2008.cn/WRM/ENG/INF/GL/95A/GL0000000.shtm (Comes up about fourth when you google it in Safari). I have it bookmarked in Safari for quick ref but that page also leads to other cool links like athlete bios and the individual categories that each country has won medals in.

  4. You can also to to mobile.nbcolympics.com and its free.

  5. mobile.nbcolympics.com is also a great site to follow the games. It also has video that plays on the iphone.

  6. Вот это да!
