WOW! Jay you are one patient guy... Hats off to you :D

What worked for me
Uninstall: Mobile Substrate (this will also remove winterboard)
Then reinstall: Winterboard and so far all is working fine (in my case)

I was using supreme perference when it suddenly flashed and returned to the lockscreen. It went into safe mode.
It says:
"We apologize for the inconvenience, but SpringBoard has just crashed.

MobileSubstrate /did not/ cause this problem: it has protected you from it.

Your device is now running in Safe Mode. All extensions that support this safety system are disabled.

Reboot (or restart SpringBoard) to return to the normal mode. To return to this dialog touch the status bar."

It doesn't say at all what has crashed springboard and supreme perference is GONE when I go to the settings panel. I've tried a hard reset, tried to shut down and reboot it, but all with no results. I this supreme perference is making springboard to crash. Anyone knows how to deal with this?
