I have jailbroken my phone several times with several firmwares. I recently restored my phone to 2.2, and every time I try to jailbreak it, I get messages from windows saying that "the device has malfunctioned and cannot be recognized" and quickpwn says the device connected in the wrong mode, or a faulty USB connection.

When the "continue holding home for 30 seconds" step appears, it usually starts doing everything after 10 seconds. Should I keep holding home even though it's doing everything??? I am getting very frustrated.
