CallCounter – Keep Track of Call Information

Available In: Cydia       Price: Free

CallCounter CallCounter is an application that allows you to view your call information. This application is very similar to SMSCounter only with call stats instead of SMS stats.

When you open the application, you will get the main screen. Here you have a few options: Date, Call Type, Person and Call Count. The application defaults to one month, all calls (both incoming and outgoing), from everyone and then gives you your total. However, If you select the Period option, you are able to change the To and From date. If you select Message Type, you are able to choose All calls, only Incoming calls or only Outgoing calls. The Person option allows you to choose a specific person. The Count Count displays the hours and minutes you have used based on the options you have selected.

There is also a Charts option in the upper left corner. This will give you a pie chart of all your calls. If you tap on one of the colored portions, you are able to see which contact represents that portion, the total number of minutes used talking to that contact and the percentage of your total minutes that they represent. You can affect the chart by changing the Period option on the main page. I have noticed that the smaller portions of the pie chart are easier to select than they where with SMSCounter and I still think this is a fun addition to the application! Like SMSCounter, this is a very simple yet very nicely implemented application. The user interface is easy to use and the application works smoothly. The only thing that I would like to see changed is that it would keep your previous settings…when you close and reopen the applicaiton, it always defaults back to the stock settings.
