What they SHOULD care about is that once we purchase something, we take it home and it becomes OURS! Therefore we should be able to do whatever we want with it. It's like buying some clothes from the store but not being able to wear it the way you want. So how can this be made illegal? It's ridiculous. People love apple’s product – they just don’t wan’t to be told how to use it.
If everyone who wants jailbreaking doesn’t buy from apple, apple would loss a lot of money. I don’t think they want that. Therefore that is not a valid argument in my view.

I'll never buy an iphone until turn into an open platform.
