WinterBoard In the last week or so there have been a few updates to WinterBoard. The updates do not make any changes to the user interface of the app but, they do add a few cool new options like per page wallpapers….meaning the ability to have a different wallpaper on each page of your SpringBoard. Below is a list of all the changes for each update. Though, I’m still waiting for that huge update that makes WinterBoard a little more user friendly and gives it a nice clean user interface!!

Note: If you would like to have a different wallpaper on each page of your SpringBoard, you will need to label the wallpapers inside your theme as … Page0.png (first page), Page1.png (second page), Page2.png (third page) and so on.

Update 0.9.2796-1:
New IconAlpha Info.plist Key
Fixed Tiny Icon Offset Bug

Update 0.9.2795-1:
Made Wallpapers Work Again

Update 0.9,2794-1:
Doesn’t Overlap Call Controller
Per-Page Wallpaper Page#.png
Prioritize Apple’s ImageCache

Very nice – works great untill trying to move icons around the springboard and the docked icons vanish into thin air!

Return to normal and all is ok.

Also the mod must icorporate dock0, dock1 etc to be fully effective.

Brilliant start to a great facility but needs more work before it is really usefull.

A better idea would be to have an application that held any number of themes that could be numbered in order. (similar to fount swap) This would eliminate the need to ssh for modification.

Yes, it would be good to have a list of winterboard modifications and instructions on how to use them.

Still I’m not grumbling – just a happy user.

So is it possible to have the rotating background for each page, using Wallpaper.html… I am not sure how that would work since each one is a png doc…

I have a few ideas for a theme… and I could theme each page a little differently
