Dave, if you cancel in the first month you have to return the phone, and if you cancel after the 1st month then you’d have to pay for 2 months of voice & data service and don’t forget the activation fee. so you’re pretty much looking at the same price.

why not just buy with contract and then cancel your contract and pay the 200 (199+200=399, etc)? wouldnt that work?

I did this a couple weeks ago, bought phone for 730, unlocked and jailbroke it, and now i sold it for 900 bucks! looks like it isn’t working any more. rats
