i have the first gen ipod touch and im uptodate on all software and it still does not work. my bf has the new iphone and it doesnt work iether!!!someone help us!!!!

Sweet, it works! 2 things though…

1.) I sent myself an email with the emoticons and it didn’t show up as anything

2.) How the heck does the spell number app let the iPhone do that!? It’s awesome that it does but how?

check appstore for a app called iMail its free and enables Emjoi [Emoticons]. and works on 3.0..

I also saw an app called emoji I imail that said it would do it too… i haven’t tried it cause i enabled emoji a while back with my jailbroken 3G on 2.2.

Works on my 3G w/ 3.0

Had to reboot the iPhone to get the built-in mail to see the Emjoi though.

It is works on one of our test iPhones that is a 1st gen iPhone on firmware 3.0.
