What’s gona happen is that there will be a carrier update for At&t it’s happened before an actually there At&t carrier setting 5.0 that’s in use to enable tethering. Don’t sweat to much emailing photos still works though

Does anyone remember when the Dev Team said they had no interest in jailbreaking the iPod touch 2g? Now, turns out the jailbreak for it is gonna save them to jailbreak the 3GS. I love the dev team, but that is some delicious irony!

Curious if anyone else thought of this.. All of us on at&t (sigh) who cannot MMS till the end of summer. Do you think apple will come out with 3.0.1 to enable that? Because my 3GS and 3G don’t have that handy little camera option in the corner when I text.. I assume that will happen with a fw update? Or am I way off?

I actually like the Copy/Paste feature in 3.0. But I also miss the certain aspects of Clippy on the jailbroken iPhone. But for what it is I think Apple did a pretty good job with it.

Anyone like the new Copy & Paste features? I upgraded to 3.0 on my 8G 2G and the copy paste really sucks….it doesn’t have a stack like hClipboard

mobilesubstrate is the big one I have to keep an eye on. I’ve been watching what I install and how it affects my memory and so far attatchmail= mailto: so far as I can tell it was really the only one that hogged my memory so I uninstalled…pity but I’d rather have more memory and be able to actually play games then use ifile. I have a few themes installed and so far no real memory usage same with sbsettings

I was actually thinking the same thing. I’m not sure where I read it but someone was saying that the jailbreak doesn’t slow down the 3G but yes it does. I think it also depends on the theme you’re using etc. Mine definitely slowed down with all the add-ons for mobilesubstrate.

I think the 3GS will slow down as well but not as badly as the 3G. In other words my theory is it’ll be tolerable. At least I’m hoping it will be.

I have a 32GB 3GS and I am dying lol. I definitely have iPhone Jailbreak Withdrawal Syndrome (iJWS). Fortunately the 3.0 software has been keeping me busy. Internet tethering alone has me happy. But I have to admit I cannot wait for the jailbreak. The 3GS is so freakin fast it’s amazing! None of my games crash anymore! The Safari browser tabbed windows actually STAY OPEN when you are doing other things on the phone then come back to it! Mail works the way it’s supposed to! I mean the overall speed is just awesome!!! Apple should have released the iPhone like this from the very beginning. But I guess better late than never…
