Cydia Cydia has been update to version 1.0.2953-59. The update adds the letters back into the Search menu as well as in the Manage > Packages option. I’m love having the letters back on the right side of the Search…it makes thing so much easier and faster. I also noticed that you can do a cool scroll with the letter in the Search as well….just hold your finger on the letters and scroll up and down. Let me know in the comments if you notice anything else with the update.

This is related to Cydia: I have a 2g that I just updated to 3.0.
Cydia keeps telling me that there are Essential updates available, but I cant get it to update.
I get a error message saying: Sub-process/usr/bin/dpkg returned ad error code (1)
I re-updated and unlocked (T-Mo customer) and still the same thing on a CLEAN update.

    I miss something?
    Thanks

I get a error message saying: Sub-process/usr/bin/dpkg returned ad error code (1), and /var/cache/apt/archives/grep_2.5.4-3_iphone-arm.denb (pre-dependancy problem – not installing group)

I have not installed any apps neither form the App Store or Cydia as of yet.

    I miss something?

After I did the update to cydia on both of my iPhone 3g the program keeps crashing. It wont even open. If it were just one of the phones then I would just do a restore, but since it is both I am afraid that when I restore cydia will do the same. Has anyone else had this problem. If so help please!!!!
