   i hope they fix this soon. i want to buy a 3gs but i dont know if i should wait until they fix the problem with the white ones. maybe if i wait, they will start comming with v3.1 and i wont be able to jailbreak. i dont know what to do

   there will always be a jailbreak 3.1 WILL be jailbreakable doesn’t matter what Apple does to patch there software theirs always a way to break it.

   Ok guys, I need a little help. I just jailbroke my iPhone 3GS for the first time ever using purplera1. It was very easy. But after playing around with it some, I want it gone. How do I undo the jailbreak. I already did a restore but to my surprise, cydia and freeze were still there after the restore!! Help me get this off my phone please!

   I don’t think you did a restore. Those two apps would not be there if you did.

   Just out of curiosity, why don’t you want to keep the jailbreak. It doesn’t hurt anything and there are a few things that are nice to have. Even for SBSettings alone, I would jailbreak.

   I restored from the backup I did just before I jailbroke it. It took FOREVER to restore!! I don’t really know why I want it gone… I feel like my phone is tainted now or something. So far I’ve installed mxtube, which is really cool. Alot of the other stuff is kinda confusing to me, I have no idea what I’m doing. Maybe someone can explain to me some of the cool things worth keeping it for? Thanks.

   A lot of people were successful doing it on top of their current jailbreak. I wasn’t. It failed and I had to restore.

   really wish winterboard was working. with the features that come with the 3gs, winterboard was the only big reason for jailbreaking imo
