The One Ring is a Lord of the Rings inspired theme. The theme contains a wallpaper, lock screen background, status bar, badges, sliders, lock screen battery, 79 icons, loading screen, calculator mod, dialer mod and basically an entire UI mod. Usually I do not write about themes that are based off thins like Lord of the Rings or Mickey Mouse or whatever but, this one is very complete. The only issue is that it is packaged for firmware 2.x so that Message app doesn’t have an icon. That can be easily fixed by sshing into the Library/Themes/The One Ring/Icons folder and changes Texts.png to Messages.png. You can get The One Ring Theme via the BigBoss source.
How to Install
1. Your device must be jailbroken. (how?)
2. Make sure you have WinterBoard installed via Cydia.
2. Make sure you have the BigBoss source installed in Cydia.
3. Search The One Ring Theme in Cydia, run the install.
4. Open WinterBoard and activate the The One Ring Theme.
I don’t see this in Cydia or under the BigBoss Source? Is it just me?
Hum…I see it on all three of my test iPhones. Have you refreshed your sources lately?
How do you refresh your sources?
Go into Cydia and then into the Changes section. On the top left corner there is a Refresh button. But, it should do it automatically every time you open Cydia.
can you explain changing the messages.png thing more in depth, can it be done using IphoneBrowser
and are they going to add more icons to cover rest of apps, cuz it doesn’t really look that great when half of my icons look completely different
And just how do they do that considering there are over a thousand apps in the app store and which ones should they change??
Hi, I looked at different sources but I saw different sources. which one is the BigBoss Source that I need to use.
