I've already been doing this on my phone before seeing this application (via bookmarklet). It looks like this is just the bookmarklet packaged into an application.

Hmmm. I may have spoken too soon. It did work fine and found words on the page. But when I tried to browse other web pages after I installed this, I received messages that my iPhone was not connected to the internet and the pages could not be found. My phone was clearly connected through wifi. I also had problems doing a Google Image search. Images came up with blue boxes and question marks inside them. No pictures would show. I deleted FindInPage both through Cydia and by deleting the bookmark, rebooted my phone, and my Safari browser is back to normal. My conclusion is that this is buggy on the 3GS.
