I see them in windows explorer but get an error when I try to delete them. But if you only want to move and rename your files so that you have unique names, you can use a free program I've been using for years called Media Sort: http://mediasort.sourceforge.net/ It uses EXIF data for the date the picture was taken. (If you don't know what EXIF is, google it.) The UI isn't that pretty but it works fine.
