Hi,

I have a 2g iphone, how can i update it to the latest firmware and jailbreak and then unlock it using windows..? Any help would be appreciated….Thanks

This update looks like it updates the carrier file too so no more tethering for now. I’m still waiting for a 3.1 jailbreak update for Windows so I can get all of the 3.1 apps on my 3g

PS: didn’t the dev team say that they were going to discontinue PwnageTool and only go with redsn0w?

I feel like that apple updates (after the decimal point) aren’t even that significant. There’s no way I would want to lose all the useful functions of a jailbroken phone for updates that don’t really do that much.

Yeah, i agree. Jailbreaking my iphone is so worth it. I would’t update without knowing a jailbreak is available. My bitesms is something I couldn’t be without.

We to Superior every year. Sometimes we catch a white Christmas, but travel is always a pain. Anyway…

I keep my iPhone (3Gs) updated as recent as the jailbreak. There are way to many things available to save me time. eg: Notifier, iBlacklist, Backgrounder, Bosspaper, MyProfiles, Lockdown, Catagories, etc.. This is truly the most awesomest :) PDA. Any that is an understatement.

My son keeps his 3G on the Jailbreak version also just to have the themes.
