I feel that they should sell the gps unit for $100 or $120 or whatever but that it should come with a promo code to download the app for free. $200+ is just unacceptable. I don't need this crap anyway as I have a pioneer in dash gps unit. But that didn't stop me from downloading a pirated version of tomtom just to stick it to em. That’s just ridiculous. It was £100.00. It does improve the GPS positioning. Sometimes my built in GPS couldn't even work out which way I was going nevermind where I actually was. With the TomTom car kit it's 100% accurate 100% of the time. Bit pricey for what it actually does. Built in microphone should be louder in my opinion. On loud road surfaces I couldn't use the hands free capabilities becaus I simply couldn't hear the other person speaking. - and I did have the volume levels on full. I’m from the UK and I have one.
