The AT&T/Verizon Vengeance Continues – New Commercials

##ICON_NAME## It seems as though AT&T and Verizon are not losing steam on this whole commercial vengeance thing. Both AT&T and Verizon have recently released a new commercial. Verizon is targeting Apple this time around instead of AT&T. It could be in retaliation to the commercials Apple released last week targeting Verizon. The difference is, Apple does it so smoothly and Verizon is tactless.

Either way, I think both Verizon and AT&T’s commercials are slipping in quality. You can check them both out below.

  1. While I agree that the Verizon ad is pretty weak, I actually think AT&T has a pretty decent commercial here. They bring to light a good point that many people often forget.

    For the record, I use T-Mobile. :)

  2. Victor Healey says

Little things are possible with AT&T like speaking to my wife while I am grocery shopping for her and running the iPhone application ‘Epicurious Recipes & Shopping List’ which updates itself with additional data from the web as I walk around the store.

The experience is priceless when looking at some Droid.

  3. Verizon will never have a good phone…..they can only imitate….never replicate the iphone…..Iphone pwnz joo

  4. I have AT&T, and it’s very frustrating. Yes, I get to keep my minutes, but that’s because I have a hard time making calls with the phone. It CONSTANTLY drops my phone calls. I can’t wait until April when my contract expires. Don’t know if I’ll switch to Verizon, but I’m definitely switching.

  5. I have to disagree with some. The Motorola commercial was biting, hilarious and brilliantly done. It mocked Apple’s characteristic commercials while making sure that it’s product stood out. I love adwars.

It’s personal preference. Had the Droid been out when I was shopping for a new phone I might have made the switch. I like Motorola phones. I still have a Razr that just wont die and that thing has been submerged in water and had multiple falls. Let’s face it AT&T has a crap-tacular network. The only advantage it has (had?) over Verizon is the iPhone. That being said, Apple has a solid product but the Droid has a lot of things that the iPhone lacks. (Like FLASH!! and a wayyyy better camera)

However, I have my iPhone and I like it. Like my previous phones (Blackjack, Blackberry, etc it makes my life easier) I also have contract and I’m not switching until it’s up.
