You can now begin pre-ordering the iPhone 4 via Apple’s website at apple.com/iphone/pre-order. You can either order one right there and have it shipped to your house on June 24th or you can reserve one for pickup in the Apple Store on June 24th. The store will be opening at 7:00am. I also had myself on a waiting list at my local Apple store just incase they came in before mine shipped. When I was put on the waiting list the lady told me it would be about a three week wait. 2010 WWDC Keynote Video Now Available

Apple has finally posted the video of yesterday’s WWDC Keynote. The video is available in low, medium and high quality and is around a hour and 52 minutes long. It is not available in iTunes quite yet but I’m sure it will be soon. You can find the video on Apple’s website.

Apple’s iPhone 4 Demo Video Now Available

Stats: Over 2 million iPads Sold, that’s one every 3 seconds; 8,500 native iPad apps, downloaded over 35 million times; in the first 65 days, users have downloaded over 5 million books; Over 5 billion downloads from the App Store; Over 1 billion dollars paid out to developers; iPhone has 58.2% of the entire mobile browser usage in the country, over 2.5x as much as number two, which is Android, at 22.7%; 100 millionth iOS device sold;
The developer of elements app earned more on the first day of iPad launch than 5 years of Google ads.
iBooks
You can now view PDFs in iBooks. We put a little selector right at the top so you can select between books and PDFs. Whole new bookshelf for just PDFs. You can now make notes on your bookmarks.
App Store
Netflix app for the iPhone coming this summer for free. Farmville coming to the iPhone, syncs with Facebook app, released by end of June. Updates to Guitar Hero app with new strumming feature.

Steve Jobs calls friend Jonny Ive over video chat on the iPhone 4. It’s called FaceTime, Wifi only during 2010 until networks can support it, use front or rear camera, switch cameras during call.
iPhone 4 comes in black and white, $199 for 16GB, $299 for 32GB, With AT&T: if your contract expires anytime in 2010, you are immediately eligible for a new iPhone 4 at the same $199 or $299 prices if you top up your contract for 2 years, up to 6 months early eligibility for an iPhone 4.

Today should be the big day for the new iPhone to be released. The WWDC, World Wide Developers Conference, is where the other iPhones have been announced and revealed. Of course, this time there was a major leak and we already know what the phone will look like. I’m gonna vote on the name iPhone HD. AT&T, Unlimited Data & The Truth

Ok, this is getting ridiculous. AT&T has gone off the deep end here. They are removing the unlimited data from smartphones, including the iPhone, and the iPad. If you already have unlimited, you can keep it. But is that it? Is it all that simple? No. There are a lot of questions I had and here’s what I’ve found as answers.
New plan changes:
DataPlus – 200 MB of data for $15 per month. If you use more than 200 MB, you’ll receive an additional 200 MB of data usage for $15, replenished as often as necessary during the billing cycle.
DataPro – 2 GB of data for $25 per month. If you exceed 2 GB, you’ll get an additional 1 GB of data for only $10. Each time an additional 1 GB is used up during a cycle, you will automatically receive another 1 GB at the same low price.
This is just the beginning of it all. 200MB of additional data for $15 but the other plan is only $10 for another 1GB (1,000MB). This is just stupid. [Read more…]
New iPad Ordered!

We’ve finally ordered our new iPad 3G! Usually we have the iPhone right when it comes out but since the iPad costs more it took us a little longer to save up for it. I decided to order the 3G so we can test it out and so we can have data access whenever we need it. I also picked the 16GB version. I, of course, would like to have the 64GB version but for $200 more I decided to save that money to use for the new iPhone 4/4G/HD. Also, I looked at the storage right now on my iPhone 3GS and concluded I’d be fine with only 16GB.
Right now my iPhone has all my music on it that I own. I know, it’s not a lot but it is about 1,400 songs. I don’t think I”ll be putting any music on my iPad. I also have 312 apps which really don’t take a lot of room. My available capacity is 14.7 GB. I originally bought the 32GB iPhone 3GS so I wouldn’t be restricted on taking pictures and video. If I wanted to record a 30min clip, I didn’t want to be limited by space. On the iPad, I won’t be taking pictures or video so I won’t need that extra space. As for watching videos like movies, I probably won’t be ripping videos to my iPad. Most movies we watch are from Redbox so use a laptop or my 24″ iMac. [Read more…]
Steve Jobs Interviewed at D8 Conference

Steve Jobs was a speaker at the D8 Conference and was asked about everything you could think of. From the lost iPhone to what he does all day. Here are some of the highlights that are related to devices that run iPhone OS.
Removing Google from the iPhone?
Kara asks if Apple might remove Google from the iPhone and iPad. Jobs says no. Again, he notes that Apple is simply trying to make the best products it can and that the market will decide whose is better. “Right now, we have the better product.”
AT&T?
Jobs: “They’re doing pretty good in some ways and in others they could do better. We meet with them once a quarter. Remember, they deal with way more data traffic than anyone else. And they’re having trouble. But they have the fastest 3G network and they’re improving. I wish they were improving faster. … I’m convinced that any other network, had you put the iPhone on it would have had the same problems.”
