Multifl0w – Expose-Like Multitasking Interface

Available In: Cydia       Price: $4.99

SettingsThis app is a very nice way do display all apps that are running in the background. It works on the iPhone or iPad. Since the iPad doesn’t natively support backgrounding, this is a nice way to switch between apps. It will also work with the new 4.0 software and can be activated in pretty much any way you’d like using activator. Once you have some apps running in the background and you bring up Multifl0w, you can rearrange the order of the apps by dragging them around. Here’s a few screenshots and a video demo.

  1. Is this app limited to how many backgrounding apps it can display?

  2. Wow, very nice! Just the price is a little high, I know it worths for the work the developer has taken, but…

  3. This thing eats up so much memory! It looks nice but it’s not worth it.

  4. @L Which device are you using? I have an iPhone 4 and it doesn’t eat up memory for me at all. I would assume maybe on older devices it probably would like previous multifl0w did on my 3GS for example. That included ProSwitcher as well.

  5. I agree on the memory issue. I put it on my iPad and after about 3 apps running in background the apps will quit from being backgrounded as memory drops too low. I do have quite a few other jailbreak apps running so maybe the low iPad memory just can’t handle this on top of that. I might try turning off some of these other items to see if that helps but it does seem to be taking up too much memory.

  6. what is the name of the song?@@

  7. I realize that this is not an official Apple site and I also know that two very good people operate it. What’s troubling is the lack of any new stuff, particularly with a brand new iPhone on the market. It appears that the last post was August 23/10. It is now September 2. Surely there is iPhone news worthy of this site that can and should be posted. Maybe you folks need some new reporters. I don’t know.

I say this respectfully. Believe me.
