Flickr 1.1 Update Adds Two Major Features

FlickrThe official Flickr app has always been a let down for me. It’s missing some major features and made the app useless. There are still some features I’d like to see but I’ll post them at the end of this article. The new update adds two major features that should have always been there but props to the developer for finally getting them in there and for overall great UI design.

One of the new features now lets you upload more than one photo or video at a time. Although it’s a nice feature, the way it’s designed is not intuitive. You tap upload, select 1 picture, then it loads a screen to add info to that picture. To add another, tap “Add Item” and it brings you back to the camera roll. What’s annoying is if you are loading 10 picture from about 20 pictures ago, you have to do this for each one and have to scroll up each time because it loads at the bottom of the camera roll. Once you get them in, you can tap on each picture to edit the individual pictures info.

iBlast Moki Lite Hits App Store

##ICON_NAME## iBlast Moki, a very cool physics puzzle game, now has a lite version available in the App Store. The lite version is free and contains 13 levels. If you have been holding off on purchasing iBlast Moki, I will definitely want to check out the lite version. This is one of the best physics game out there!

Aqua Forest 2 Available in App Store

Aqua Forest 2 Aqua Forest 2, by Hudson Software, recently hit the App Store. It is a sequel to the first Aqua Forest game which is one of Doug’s favorite games.

Aqua Forest 2 contains two modes; Puzzle and Endless. The object of Aqua Forest 2 is to navigate water droplets. Honestly, I’m exactly sure why it is called Aqua Forest 2… it doesn’t look to be very similar to the original Aqua Forest game. You can pick up Aqua Forest 2 for $4.99 (the original Aqua Forest remains at it’s original launch price of $7.99).

This application allows you to manage your blog on wordpress.com or one you’re hosting yourself using software downloaded from wordpress.org. Black Friday iPhone App Sale

PING!Ping! which used to be free and then recently raised their price to $0.99 is now free again for Black Friday. Ping is an instant messeger app with push notifications. You can only talk from Ping! to Ping! app but if you’re looking to save on text messaging this is a great app. A recently new feature is the ability to send picture. TomTomHonestly, even with the sale price, I still think the TomTom app is way over priced, but if you’ve been waiting for it to go on sale and $69.99 is a good deal to you, then today’s your day. If you have been around the jailbreak scene you have probably tried your hand at a few Widget apps only to end up feeling disappointed. iGizmoz brings Widgets to the App Store and believe me, you will not be disappointed. FacebookBirthdays – Receive Push Notifications for Contacts and Facebook Friends’ Birthdays

FacebookBirthdays FacebookBirthdays is an application that allows you to view Birthdays for both your iPhone contacts and your Facebook friends. The app will also send you push notifications for upcoming Birthdays.

FacebookBirthdays will automatically pull in all your Contact’s Birthdays (no internet connect required) the first time you open the app. In order for the app to pull in all your Facebook Birthdays, you will need to navigate to the Settings option on the lower menu bar and sign into your Facebook account. Once you have signed in, you can Sync and all your Facebook Friend’s Birthdays are pulled in. The process is quick and painless.

The Today & Upcoming option on the lower menu bar displays any upcoming Birthdays for both Contacts and Facebook friends. The All Birthdays option will display everyones’ Birthdays. All Birthdays is broken up into two categories; Address Book and Facebook.

Twittelator Pro Update Brings Lists, Reply All, TwitLonger and A Lot More!

Twittelator ProSome may think this app is high priced at $4.99 but with updates almost every month or more and this list of new features you might change your mind. The biggest feature on the list is support for Twitter’s new lists. You can see others’ lists, create a new one, and add users to lists. The only problem I had was I went over my API connection limit after adding people to lists. If you want to do mass amounts of people, keep using the twitter.com website. If you just need to do some updating every once in a while or see your lists, you should be fine.

This update also added a few third party features like “What The Trend?”, Tlists, Follow Cost, Tweet Blocker, favrd, favstar, & TwitLonger. Another feature which is pretty kewl is a reply to all. If someone you follow tweets an at reply to one or more people, you can hit “reply to all” and a new tweet is started with @replies to all users. TasteTimer TasteTimer is a simple application that allows you to quickly view the amount of time for tea, coffee, and food preparation.

The app includes 19 categories of food ranging from tea to eggs to vegetables to poultry. Each category includes specific types of preparation. For example if you chose the Eggs category you would then see the option for Hard Cooked, Sunny Side Up, Poached, Frittata… etc. Once a specific type of preparation has been selected you are given details about the preparation including; the temperature, the quantity of food and the cook time. TGI Black Friday – The Must-Have Black Friday Application

TGI Black Friday TGI Black Friday, powered by TGIblackfriday.com and DealCatcher.com, is the ultimate Black Friday application. I received an email about this app over the week-end and since downloading it… I have spent WAY too much time on it! I’m pretty sure it has every feature you could want in a Black Friday specific application. Not only that but, it is nicely organized and easy to navigate.

Upon opening the app, you will find five options on the lower menu bar; Home, Stores, Categories, Search and My List. In the Home option you are given a list of the most popular Black Friday deals as well as a list of the newest Black Friday ads that have been added to the application. The Store option will list all the stores (in alphabetical order) that have already released their Black Friday sales… if you scroll all the way down, you will see a grayed-out list of stores that are still due to release their Black Friday sales.
