iBlast Moki, a very cool physics game, has been updated to version 1.1. The update includes quite a few updates and improvements.

Main features for the update:
- New completely redesigned online menu with new filters (filter by level designer, style, difficulty and featured by Godzilab).
- New Scary Halloween Mokis
- The Halloween environment can also be used when creating your own levels.
- New languages: English, French, Spanish, Italian, German and Turkish.

Smaller improvements:
- Added a button quit when you finish a level.
- Better item manipulation when zoomed in or out.
- New sound when timing the bombs.
- Fix crash bug when placing elements outside of the physical space.

As we mentioned previously, iBlast Moki is having a Level Creating Competition. The ten best levels will be selected and will be included “in their own dedicated world with new graphics for the next iBlast Moki update.” Here is a little more info about the 1.2 update.

“We are actively working on the next update (1.2) which will have new content, including 3 new worlds with their exclusive graphics as well as 2 completely new items with their own physics.

One of the world will contain the 10 best levels selected from the iBlast Moki creation contest. Participant of the level creation contest can win up to 250$ of iTunes Gift Card. More information about the contest can be found on our website – www.godzilab-games.com”

iBlast Moki Contest

The rules
- You will have to create totally new levels with original puzzle ideas using a variety of items.
- We will select the 10 best levels we receive and include them in their own dedicated world with new graphics for the next iBlast Moki update.
- You can win multiple times and will get a 25$ iTunes gift card for each of your levels that is selected and published.
- You will also get your name in the credits if your level is selected.

How to participate
- Create a level with the level editor in iBlast Moki for iPhone/iPod Touch.
- Try to create complex and difficult level using a wide variety of items in the nature environment.
- You level name should start with XX so that we can identify it for the competition.
- Upload it using the online sharing feature in iBlast Moki.
- Take a screenshot of the solution and email it to contest at godzilab-games dot com
- All levels should be uploaded before midnight on Sunday 8th November 2009
- We will select the best levels, and you will receive an email if your level is chosen

Notes
- We won’t accept existing or similar levels to the ones already uploaded or in the game, so please make sure your levels are completely new with original ideas.
- The levels should be using the standard physics (not the water physics).
- We would like to see complex and hard levels using a wide variety of items.

A few weeks ago, we told you that Godzilab had announced a new physics game, iBlast Moki. The game hit the App Store late last week. I had a chance to test it out all week-end and I was not disappointed!

I am normally not too attracted to physics games (unlike Doug who LOVES them) usually due to the fact that they frustrate me to no end! So, when I downloaded iBlast Moki, I wasn’t sure how much I was going to enjoy the game but I was pleasantly surprised by this one.

The object of iBlask Moki is to blast the little Mokis into the portal with the help of bombs. The first few levels are designed to get you acquainted with the game. As you move through the levels, they get progressively more difficult. There are a lot of nice features in the game including the ability to quickly reset the level by selecting the button in the lower left corner of the play screen. You can Undo a move, Redo a move, Reset the level and Quit. You can also zoom the play screen in and out by pinching and pulling.

When you complete a level, it will display your time, score, how many flowers your collected and your metal (Gold, Silver or Bronze). The faster you complete and level and the more flowers you collect, the higher metal you receive.

The game contains 70 levels within 6 different Worlds (5 of which have to be unlocked).

If 70 levels weren’t enough, the game contains a level editor. The level editor allows you to create your own levels and share them with friends. I found the editor to be nicely implemented and easy to use. It didn’t take long using the editor before I was comfortable with the features and building a level.

iBlast Moki is definitely a game you do not want to miss out on. It is well designed, challenging and seriously entertaining. If you are into physics game, this is a must-have. Check out the App Store description below for more info about the game.

iBlast Moki, by Godzilab, is a physics puzzle game for iPhone and iPod Touch developed. The goal of the game is to blast the little Mokis into the portal with the help of bombs. Throughout the game you are able to unlock new items like ropes, rising balloons and rotating wheels. There are six different worlds each containing unique gameplay mechanics like moving obstacles, rotating doors and floating in water. The campaign is made of more than 70 levels and once you have finished all the levels, a new game mode is unlocked.

Another really cool feature of the game is the ability to create (and share) your own levels with the built-in level editor. If you like physics style games, you will want to keep your eye out for iBlast Moki, it’s going to be a good one! It has been submitted to Apple so we should see it in the next week or so.
