I have noticed that on my lock screen sometimes my passcode will display behind all the info on my lock screen. I can still enter my passcode and it works…I think it is just a glitch, it happens randomly!!

Version 2.2 Enhancements:
    • iPhone Firmware 2.1 Support
    • IntelliScreen overall is faster
    • QuickView for Weather, News, and Sports
    • IntelliAlert Vibrations – Mail=2 fast beeps, SMS=2 slow beeps, Call/VM=3 beeps, Calendar=4 beeps
    • IntelliScreen no longer requires a respring for modifications
    • Cell Separator more equally spaced between content
    • Default cell separator is now “clear”
    • When SMS Privacy Enabled, screen now dims slightly in addition to alert sound/vibrate
    • Removed requirement for Mail AutoFetch/Push to enable Mail Tap To Check
    • Improved Quickview support for multiple mail content formats
    • Access iPod Controls by leaving iPod open when locking screen (full screen access via the IntelliDial home button) – Portrait Mode Only

Version 2.2 Bug Fixes:
    • IntelliScreen hide/show is too sensitive
    • SpringBoard does not respond sometimes
    • SMS down arrow not working correctly in PreviewScreen
    • Some HTTP Links for News Feeds do not work
    • Mail will not display when AutoFetch/Push is not enabled
    • QuickView will not retrieve mail messages not downloaded from server
    • QuickView does not support Russian/JP character types
    • Weather/News/Sports may not update if connection fails over Edge/3G
    • Pop Account delete does not work
    • IS launch does not respect Pin Code timeout

Version 2.2 Known Issues:
    • Mail may not always retrieve all messages
    • Mail may not always mark as read
    • If QuickGold is displaying, it will show on lock screen
    • Sometimes the battery charging icon will disappear/show 2 on lock screen

The two visual changes include the ability to choose alert sounds (see screenshots below) and an IntelliDial screen even if you do not have any Favorites selected. Now, if you press the Home button to go to IntelliDial and you do not have any Favorites selected you will get a screen that says, “IntelliDial uses your contact favorites. You have no favorite contacts.” There was also one bug fix that had to do with the app not starting. Other than that, no major changes. Though, I sure am glad to have IntelliScreen back! I really missed this app!! You can get IntelliScreen 2.01 in Cydia via the Intelliborn source.
The update to version 1.09b of IntelliScreen fixes a bug that made the app crash if it was the first time it was being installed. The new feature on version 1.09 is the ability to add a Location Label to weather locations. The only way to see utilize this new feature is if you delete your Weather locations and re-add them. Because there is no way to edit previously added locations. However, when you add a new location, you will notice a Location Label option. When you add a Location Label, it will change the title of the Weather to whatever you have in the Location Label:the city or zip code you entered. The bug fixes are listed below. You can get IntelliScreen via the IntelliBorn source.

Ever since I updated IntelliScreen to 1.07 and 1.08, Kate has not shown up in my Settings. It took me a while to figure what was causing the issue with Kate, I finally realized it was IntelliScreen. I personally am a huge fan of both Kate and InteliiScreen so, I was bummed that they were conflicting. However, thanks to a comment from JW, I found out that I could do some editing of my com.apple.SpringBoard.pist file and fix the problem! Well, I finally had a change to test it out and it worked great!! Here is what you need to do if you are having the same problem.

1. You will need to be able to SSH into your iPhone.

2. Find the com.apple.SpringBoard.plist file on your iPhone. It is located in the System/Library/LaunchDaemons folder.

3. Drag the com.apple.SpringBoard.plist file off of your iPhone and onto to your computer. You will want to change the name of the file to System/Library/LaunchDaemons/com.apple.SpringBoard.plist (original) or something similar. That way, you can keep it as a back-up of the original file….just in case!

4. Open the System/Library/LaunchDaemons/com.apple.SpringBoard.plist file you saved on your computer with any code editing software (I used Miscrosoft FrontPage).

5. Once it is open, find the part in the code that looks like this – /Library/Intelliborn/intelliScreen:/Library/Frameworks/SummerBoard.framework
/SummerBoard.dylib
Note: There will be other code in front and behind it but, you only need to worry about this section.

6. Delete the bold section of the code shown below. /Library/Intelliborn/intelliScreen:/Library/Frameworks/SummerBoard.framework
/SummerBoard.dylib

7. Replace the section you deleted with this –
/Library/MobileEnhancer/MobileEnhancer.dylib

8. The code should now look like this –
/Library/Intelliborn/intelliScreen:/Library/MobileEnhancer/MobileEnhancer.dylib

9. Save the file as com.apple.SpringBoard.plist (DO NOT SAVE OVER THE TOP OF YOUR ORIGINAL FILE).

10. Drag the com.apple.SpringBoard.plist that you edited and saved back into the System/Library/LaunchDaemons folder on your iPhone.

11. Restart your iPhone and check your Settings…RiP Dev should show up now!

This worked for me. I was able to use both Kate and IntelliScreen like normal.

I am a huge fan of this application but, since they added IntelliDial…it has been driving me crazy! I normally press the Home Button to turn on my lock screen however, when I do, it now opens IntelliDial. Not only does IntelliDial take a few seconds to open, I then have to hit my Home Button again to get back to my lock screen so that I can slide to unlock. I wish there was a different way to get to IntelliDial or that it didn’t activate until your lock screen was awake. In the Alerts option, you can now choose to enable the IntelliAlert View. IntelliAlert View will display your alerts in a little peal-back menu on your lock screen. All of the Phone, Voicemail and Calendar alerts are moved to the peal-back menu and no longer display above InteliScreen. Another new option is the ability to turn on/off Repeat Cal Alerts. If you toggle Repeat Cal Alerts on, it will continue to alert you until it is acknowledged. The final new feature in the Alerts option is the ability to turn on/off SMS Privacy. If you toggle it on, it will turn off the pop-up that is displayed when receiving a new Text Message.
There is also a new feature called IntelliDial. IntelliDial is a feature that allows you to dial a contact from your Favorites list…right from your lock screen. All you have to do it tap your Home Button while on your lock screen, and it will bring up a Cover Flow style list of your contacts.
