A i r o, by Pur3x, contains 61 icons (some of which are alternative icons), wallpaper, dock, lockscreen wallpaper, lockscreen battery, badges and quite a few UI mods. Overall, the theme is nicely designed and the UI mods are subtle and clean. I did notice that the “Slide to Unlock” text looks a little funky… it is moved over to the right but still slightly visible. Endless Walls is a pretty cool wallpaper application. When you first open the application, it does require you to create an account (or log in if you already have an account) though the process is quick and easy.
Once signed in, the app will automatically begin displaying wallpapers. You can pause the automatic slide-show of wallpapers by tapping the pause button on the lower menu bar. Chromiphone is a WinterBoard theme that contains 91 icons, a wallpaper, dock, status bar, page dots and badges. For some reason this theme seems familiar to me but, I see a lot of themes and sometimes they blur together! You can get Chromiphone via the modmyi source.
How to Install a Theme:

A few days ago, we told you about Multiflow… a multitasking application. It seems the app is now available in Cydia for a “hefty” price tag of $4.99.
Multiflow is a multitasking interface which displays applications that are running and allows you to scroll left and right between them for quick switching. It also includes a snapshot of each of the backgrounded applications. Runs with backgrounder (you can background application by holding the home button).

LockInfo, a feature-packed lock screen mod, was updated to version 1.1.8. The update includes a fix and a new “feature.” With the new version, the lock screen auto dim is reset when you touch the lock screen so the lock screen will no longer go dim while you are viewing LockInfo! I have actually been waiting for this exact “feature!” Below is the full change log.
Remember, LockInfo can be used in conjunction with Cydget and is available via the modmyi source.

– Fixed an issue where preference updates were not being picker up in a timely fashion.

Overboard, a mod that allows you to view your SpringBoard pages Exposé style, was recently released in Cydia. If you are thinking that this app looks familiar… it’s because it does. Overboard is very similar to Orbit, by Steven Troughton-Smith, which was released last month.
However, Overboard does provide a bit more functionality. It allows the user to choose the launch method for the Exposé view (Home Button, SpringBoard Icon or SpringBoard Pinch), it allows the user to choose the number of columns displayed, it supports WinterBoard themes, it allows you to search for an app while in Exposé view and allows you to turn on/off the Dock while in the Exposé view. Overboard also seems to perform better than Orbit.

WikiSearch is a Cydget that allows the ability to search Wikipedia right from your lock screen.
Once installed, you can go into the stock Settings application under Cydget and enable WikiSearch. You will then be able to search Wikipedia directly from your lock screen. To search, just tap on the search bar and type in your search term(s). It will display the mobile version of Wikipedia on your lock screen. You are able to scroll through the page, click on links, view images… etc. You are not able to zoom in on the page but other than that, it has most of the functionality you would normally have.

Last week I wrote about Cydget, a “framework for managing lock screen plugins.” Over the week-end there were a few Cydgets (like Widgets for Cydget) released that are pretty decent.
The first is HTC Hero Cydget. This Cydget includes the current Time, Temperature and Weather Conditions. Once you have installed the Cydget, you will need to go into the stock Settings application under Cydget and activate it. I did find that this particular Cydget does not display immediately on the lock screen, there is a slight delay. Clock Plugin for LockInfo

Clock Plugin for LockInfo adds the current Date, Time and Calendar into the LockInfo lock screen mod.
Once installed, the option is added into the stock Settings application under the LockInfo option. In the LockInfo option you have the ability to turn on/off the Clock plugin itself and the Collapse by Default option. Once you have turned on the Clock plugin the current day of the week, month, date and time will display on your lock screen. If you tap on the Clock bar on the lock screen, it will display the current month calendar.

LockInfo, a feature-packed lockscreen mod, was recently updated to version 1.0.114. The update adds quite a few new features…. some of which are pretty cool.
The update adds a pop-up blocker option in the settings that allows you to block pop-ups on the lockscreen. Another cool change is that the mod will now display the full text messages. In the previous version it would only display the first line of the message and then give you a nice ….

trichome is a very nicely designed WinterBoard theme that contains 39 small icons (some are alternate icons), a wallpaper, dock, badges, pop-up mod, live clock mod and page indicators.
I really like the live clock mod implementation. You do not have to have the actual LiveClock app installed for the live clock to work with this theme… it is built into the theme. The theme also contains an icon mask which resizes all icons (besides web clip icons) so that they match the themed icons. It also contains a detailed .psd file allowing you to create your own icons for the theme. You can get trichrome via the modmyi source.

Volume Buttons Disable is a hack that does exactly what the title says… disables your volume buttons. As soon as you install the hack, and your device resprings, the volume buttons on the side of your device will no longer work. I’m not exactly sure why you would want this but… there’s a hack for that!
If for some reason you do install this hack, you can always adjust your volume using the SBSettings Volume Slider Widget which allows you to quickly adjust your volume via a slider in SBSettings.
