Pay at Starbucks (in Target) With Your iPhone

mystarbucksThe Starbucks app is pretty kewl but since this amazing mockup nothing compares. The ultimate Starbucks app is like the one linked to above. It needs the ability to create your order, send it to the store and then be able to either pay right from the app or have them scan your iPhone.

Currently there are two iPhone apps by Starbucks. One is called myStarbucks and it lets you find locations, explore whole bean coffees, find nutrition information, and build perfect drinks. The other app is called Starbucks Card Mobile which, for most people, only let you see your card balance, until now. Previously Starbucks was testing this app in 16 stores located in Silicon Valley and Seattle but now they have opened it up to over 1,000 of their stores located in Target stores. Starbucks Card Mobile Today Starbucks released their official application, myStarbucks however they also released Starbucks Card Mobile. At first I thought the app looked slightly uneventful but then I took a closer look.

Starbucks Card Mobile allows you to view the remaining balance on your Starbucks card, reload your Starbucks card, view your recent transaction and… get this… allows you to pay using your Starbucks card right from your iPhone or iPod touch. [Read more…]
