Pysl 0.32

Pysl 0.32

PYSL In version 0.32 of Pysl…Whitelist, Call History and Scheduler do not work. Though, I like that it now gives you a pop-up telling you that it doesn’t work instead of leaving you wondering if it works or not. So, props for that. All the Settings seem to work like they should. I was able to enter a password…which it then make me enter every time I open the app but, that is good, you don’t want people adding number to your Blacklist without you knowing!! The Vibration, Status Bar, Alarm and SMS Privacy all worked as well. But, as cool as it is that all the setting work… [Read more...]

Aqwoah Keyboard, Calculator, Icons, Dialer, and More

Aqwoah Icons

I love, love, love this keyboard. There hasn’t been much that I have been willing to pay for but again, this was something worth it. The design is very well done and the developer allows you to donate to get it instead of setting a predetermined price. I like that approach. When you donate you get a private source. Once you add the source you will see a list of additional sources in your installer, each source is for your specific firmware. I chose 1.1.4. This gives me a list of all the addons available for my firmware from alohasoft. The dialer is also very nice. You can see screenshots below [Read more...]

Caterpillar 1.2

Caterpillar 1.2

Caterpillar There are some really cool new features with version 1.2 of Caterpillar. The feature I really like is that you can enable the Apple Enabled Screenshot app from it! And…it works on my 1.1.1…the actual Apple Enabled Screenshot app itself did not! Another really sweet new feature is if you are on 1.1.3 and above you can uninstall apps right from your SpringBoard!! You just tap an app until they start wiggling and then tap the X in the corner of the app you want to uninstall! They added a few new features to the FaceLift section as well… [Read more...]

Pysl 0.31

Psyl 0.31

PyslPysl is an app that allows you to manage your Calls and Texts. You can add a phone number to a Blacklist and then set the phone so it doesn’t even ring when called by that number or immediately deletes a text message received by a number. There are also a few other features that look really cool! However, we can not get this app to work. Not an any of our iPhones…we tried everything. We can get the app to open but when we add a number to the blacklist and set it not to ring…it still rings. So, [Read more...]

Advanced Preferences 0.6a

Advanced Preferences 0.6a

Advanced Preferences I was totally excited when this app was mentioned in our comments…so, I had a chance to check it out and I love it! Advanced Preferences is an app that expands on your stock Preferences. It does not put an icon on your SpringBoard…instead it adds it self as another option in your Stock Preferences. So, open your stock Settings app and scroll down until you see Advanced Preferences. It gives you a ton of options such as Sounds (and about a million options within it!), Speakers (which does nothing), the ability to turn on/off WiFi Strength, Battery Level, Cloaking, Fake Time, App Reveal and iPod Dock. You also have a few options to change your Home Button shortcut and adjust your Touch settings. Ok, so lets go over what each of these options do.

Cydia 1.0.2363-41 (alternative to Installer.app)

img_0005.png

CydiaWe have this feature of our website that shows us what users are searching for on our site and if they got any results. The biggest thing seached for with ZERO results was Cydia. I couldn’t remember what it was so I googled it and found this great thread on modmyifone.com. I can’t believe we forgot about this! I was going to look into it more when it first came out but never did. So today I installed it.

To put it simple, Cydia is like Installer.app but Open Source. There are many additional features and it’s like Installer.app always should have been. The first thing I love about Cydia is the [Read more...]

Caterpillar 1.1.1

Caterpillar 1.1.1

Caterpillar Version 1.1.1 of Caterpillar makes just a few changes to the app. One is that you can now uninstall the app by unchecking all the options (in the app, not the settings) and hitting apply. They have also added a license agreement so, the next time you open the app you will see an agreement that you have to “slide to agree.” There were also a few bug fixes… [Read more...]

ContactFlow 0.95

Contact Flow 0.95

ContactFlow Version 0.95 of ContactFlow makes yet some more changes to the app. When you open the app you will now notice little arrows at the top…if you tap the arrow in the upper left corner it will scroll you to the beginning of your contacts…if you tap the arrow in the upper right corner it will bring you to your last contact. Which is pretty cool…better than your finger cramping from too much scrolling!! Also, when you tap on a contact… [Read more...]

ContactFlow 0.93

ContactFlow 0.93

ContactFlow I was actually surprised by the amount of changes that came with version 0.93 of ContactFlow. The app now opens with only the Contacts that have photos…instead of opening with all your contacts and putting the iPod Girl image in for the ones that did not have photos. There are also some new options in the menu; you can select for the app to show all your contacts (but instead of the iPod Girl you get a white screen with the silhouette of a person…I personally like it much better then the iPod Girl…she clashed with the rest of my iPhone) and you can choose to order the contacts by First name or by Last name. Also, [Read more...]

SummerBoard 3.2

SummerBoard 3.2

SummerBoard This is the version of SummerBoard Doug has been waiting for!! Version 3.2 fixes the issue where you were unable to install more than 80 apps on your 1.1.3 or 1.1.4 iPhone! So, upgrade and install away!

SummerBoard 3.2

SummerBoard 3.1-2 Update

SummerboardSummerBoard has been updated to support 1.1.4. Brooke tried to update her 1.1.1 and got a warning saying 1.1.3 or higher is required. It updated fine on my 1.1.3. Let us know how it’s worked for you in the comments!

Categories 1.72

Categories 1.72

Categories Version 1.72 of Categories does not have any visual changes but instead a bug fix. According to BigBoss, this is what was fixed, “fixes issue where camera and photos icon would be the default question mark icon when SummerBoard theme did not include camera or photo icons or the SummerBoard theme option was disabled in the Categories gui config.” So that is good! Categories is available through the BigBoss source.

Installer 3.01

Installer 3.01

Installer The Installer.app has an update! Crazy! When you go to refresh your sources you will get a pop-up telling you that Installer has an update (see screenshots below). You can then choose to update or to cancel. Once the update is done installing you will get another pop-up saying that you will need to restart the Installer (see screenshots below). Honestly, the only visual change I see is to the Featured page…other than that I don’t see anything visual, let me know in the comments if you notice anything. Maybe a 1.1.4 compatibility fix? I was able to update, install and uninstall apps with no problem. The Installer.app is through the AppTapp Official source. Below are the screenshots.

Update: Ok, I went to refresh my sources and I got another prompt for an Installer.app update so, I did it. Well, [Read more...]
