Esponga all'aria WunderMap sotterraneo aggiornato - iPad migliore App del radar di tempo
Weather Underground’s WunderMap is my favorite weather radar app. They recently updated their application to include several weather warnings for each county. Another new feature is the ability to stop the motion of the radar. Before the radar always looped and sometimes when moving around the screen it was slow to load. Something that was annoying in the previous version was when you drag the map around the location of the conditions would change to the center of the screen. Now you can lock the condition’s location to any area by tapping the padlock in the conditions tab. Now I can keep my hometown conditions in the bottom right corner while I drag around the map. Another new feature is the alerts tab which shows current warnings and watches. WonderMap is definitely my favorite radar application for the iPad and best of all, it’s free. Read more
Skype Updated to 2.1, Runs in Background
It’s taken a little over 4 years and 4 iPhone but it is finally here! Skype on your iPhone just like a phone call. You can sign in and then close the app and when a call comes in, it rings! You can also close the app while you’re on a call and stay connected! These are features we’ve all been waiting for! Now I know Skype has been out for the iPhone before, but this is the way it always should have worked.
Now I don’t use Skype that much so this is kinda kewl. I only really use it to talk to a friend in Brazil every couple months. I sure some of you use it on a daily basis. So, let’s find out! Read more
Facebook for iPhone Update 3.1.3
| Available In: App Store | Price: Free |
Facebook has put out another update with some fixes to a couple things that have really been annoying me. One is video playback! You can now watch videos posted on Facebook. Another is links to photo albums now work. Before it would just give an error. Also, you can upload .png files. This helps us upload screenshots from our iPhones. Before you would just get a black screen instead of the picture. Here’s the full list of updates: Read more

Some major updates came yesterday for the top location based social networking apps and strangely all around the same time. I’ll list out the new features of each below but I have to admit that I’m really excited about the updates that have come to Gowalla. This is my favorite of these apps mostly because of the great look and design of the app. I’m excited for the new feature that allows you to add pictures and comments. Check out the rest of the features below.

Facebook Update 3.1 & 3.1.1 Adds Push Notifications, Contact Syncing & Lots of Bugs
A recent update (3.1) to the Facebook app was not so great for many. Personally mine would freeze after about 10 seconds of using the app. I removed the app and reinstalled and that seems to have fixed it. The new features in this update are push notifications and contact syncing. I seemed to get push notifications fine but contact syncing failed on the first try as did for some other friends. They too had issues with the app. One person couldn’t even get the app to open but again, reinstalling the app fixed the problem. Here are some other problems people were having that I found in the App Store reviews:
aclevelandjr: Awesome app but it erased my entire Google contacts list and I can’t get them to sync back… Beware!!!!!
DMB Fan 36: I’m happy to see a walk into new frontiers, but this address book sync thing seems to miss the mark in two basic places:
1) Facebook Links are sent over the contacts labeled as the default “Homepage” not a URL field called something more user friendly like “Facebook”. (the API let’s you do this easily)
2) Contact pictures are sent in a very small resolution! A picture with a quality of at least the iPhone screen res should be used instead. Most facebook contact photos have a nice higher res picture behind them. When a phone call comes in or goes out you get a silly little postage stamp instead of a nice full screen image like pictures chosen on the phone itself.
Tigger H.: Great concept, poor execution. The new “sync” feature decided to sync random facebook users I am not even friends with to difference phone contacts of mine.. Some profile pictures are on more then one contact.. Many contacts facebooks are not even remotely close to being theirs… I just wish i did not touch that sync button….
D4VIDS: I just updated my facebook and hit the sync friends button…big mistake!!! Now my fb won’t even load and it keeps crashing. Not a very good update
WeatherIcon Update 2.3.1
December 28, 2009 by Douglas
Very randomly I’ve had problems with phone calls to my iPhone not being able to hear the person on the other end. I always assume it’s some hack I’m testing but can’t always figure out which one. Well a recent WeatherIcon update lists one of the bug fixes as “Fixes issue where phone calls may have no sound (usually only an issues for EDGE users). I do use EDGE a lot (unfortunately) so I’m guessing this is going to help. I just upgraded tonight so I’ll check back soon and let you know if the fix worked.
Other updates include: “Fixes issue with night setting not working unless ‘Use Local Time’ is set.” and “Compatibility with WeatherIcon Plugin 1.0.1.” The fix came out on December 23rd so some of you probably already have it. Let me know if it worked for you.

Flickr 1.1 Update Adds Two Major Features
December 4, 2009 by Douglas

| Available In: App Store | Price: Free |
The official Flickr app has always been a let down for me. It’s missing some major features and made the app useless. There are still some features I’d like to see but I’ll post them at the end of this article. The new update adds two major features that should have always been there but props to the developer for finally getting them in there and for overall great UI design.
One of the new features now lets you upload more than one photo or video at a time. Although it’s a nice feature, the way it’s designed is not intuitive. You tap upload, select 1 picture, then it loads a screen to add info to that picture. To add another, tap “Add Item” and it brings you back to the camera roll. What’s annoying is if you are loading 10 picture from about 20 pictures ago, you have to do this for each one and have to scroll up each time because it loads at the bottom of the camera roll. Once you get them in, you can tap on each picture to edit the individual pictures info.

Twittelator Pro Update Brings Lists, Reply All, TwitLonger and A Lot More!

Some may think this app is high priced at $4.99 but with updates almost every month or more and this list of new features you might change your mind. The biggest feature on the list is support for Twitter’s new lists. You can see others’ lists, create a new one, and add users to lists. The only problem I had was I went over my API connection limit after adding people to lists. If you want to do mass amounts of people, keep using the twitter.com website. If you just need to do some updating every once in a while or see your lists, you should be fine.
This update also added a few third party features like “What The Trend?”, Tlists, Follow Cost, Tweet Blocker, favrd, favstar, & TwitLonger. Another feature which is pretty kewl is a reply to all. If someone you follow tweets an at reply to one or more people, you can hit “reply to all” and a new tweet is started with @replies to all users. There are even more featues listed below: Read more
Cydia Update – 1.0.3030-62
| Available In: Cydia | Price: Free |
Cydia was updated to version 1.0.3030-62. The update does add one cool new feature. There are now little green check marks next to the titled of apps you have installed on your iPhone or iPod touch. This is nice because when you search for something specific, you can see what you already have installed without opening the package info. Let me know in the comments if you notice anything else with the update. Read more

Keep your eyes on the update tab in the App Store! Facebook will be releasing an update to their iPhone app very soon! I have to admit I’m pretty excited about this. Right now, the app is very clunky not to mention the major bug of messages from groups in your inbox don’t show up. There’s lots to be excited about though. Here’s a list of upcoming features straight from the developer’s Facebook account: Read more

eBay Mobile 1.3 Update

eBay Mobile has recently updated to version 1.3. Lots of new features, a big one, leaving feedback for sellers and buyers.

There’s also a link to see a seller’s other items. This is nice when you find something you’re looking for and want to see what else the seller might have. You could not do this before. Another of my favorite features of this update is the ability to see search results for more than 100 items. Usually you would search and 25 items would appear in the list with a link to load 25 more. After 100 loaded it would stop searching. Now it goes on and on! Read more
