3G iPhones Arrive at AT&T Stores

The following video shows iPhones arriving at an AT&T store. Notice white iPhones come in a white box.

GasBag – Coming Soon

GagBag by jamcode LLC is an application that allows you to search for the cheapest gas based on location. It looks as though you are also able to search by the type of gas you are looking for or by specific gas station. The app is currently in private beta but I’m sure it wont be too long before we see it in the AppStore. It will be interesting to see what database the information is pulled from and how up-to-date it is. If it turns out to be decent…it might be an application that ends up on the “must have” list.

iPhone Blackjack – Not Yet Available

This is an iPhone Blackjack application that was created on Apple’s SDK. No word as to whether or not we will see it in the App Store. But, it looks cool!

And, it looks like it is going to be pretty cool!

Flying Rider – App Store

Flying Rider is similar to the computer/mobile device application Line Rider. Below is a brief description of Line Rider and demo videos of both the iPhone alpha version of the physical engine and the track editor of Flying Rider and the computer version of the application (which is pretty cool). Flying Rider is said to be available via the App Store. Though, there is no information on when that will be or the cost of the application.

In Line Rider the player draws their own landscape with a simple pencil tool creating as many ramps, hills, and jumps as they can imagine. Then they send a virtual sledder careening down the course until he wipes out. The possibilities in Line Rider are only limited by the player’s imagination.

What To Do With Your Old iPhone

iPhone 3G If you’re not sure what to do with your old iPhone this video might give you an idea. If not, I suggest jailbreaking it and keeping it around. You should be able to run an unlock process and use it as an iPod Touch with a camera, speaker and microphone and run off of Wifi. I’m going to try and use it along with my new iPhone 3G. I’ve already unlocked my current iPhone so all I have to do is swap in my new SIM from my iPhone 3G and I can use my old iPhone on the network. This way I can have a backup if my battery dies and use all the great Installer apps until the iPhone 3G is jailbroke. We know this works now because both of our iPhones are unlocked and we can swap SIMs and the phones work (using the other phone number of course). Let me know in the comments what your plans are for your old iPhone if you’re upgrading.

Neverball Update

A little over a week ago, we wrote an article about Neverball and how Lazrhog was in the early stages of porting it to the iPhone. Well, the development has come a little further along and it seems the first release is getting closer. Below is an updated demo video…check it out!

Otterbox for iPhone Armor Series Case Review

If you’re looking for extreme protection for your iPhone then look to the Otterbox for iPhone Armor Series. This case is truly water proof up to a depth of 3 feet. Not only is it waterproof but it’s dustproof, dirtproof, sandproof and dropproof. Here I’m testing the black version but there is also a yellow and black version similar to the Otterbox Defender Series. If you’re going for looks, this case isn’t for you. It is bulky, but for the type of environment this would be used in, looks probably don’t matter much. The following video includes an underwater test.
