Custom Carrier Image?

Ive noticed that people have there name as the carrier image. How and where can i find something like this. Ive seen some cool old english script. But not sure how to import this to become my carrier image.

Im looking for it to say " JESS " or " Jesse".

Can anyone help me out?

If you want logos or graphics you have to use WinSCP or something like that to drop the files in the carrier image folder.

But If you just want your name to show the you can download an app through installer that will change the carrier image easily for you. I don't know which app, maybe matty can tell you. There is one called "Erica something" that does it

i SSH into the phone with CuteFTP 8 Professional and i found the file extention to add these custom files but i need the logo artwork.

I found this link that will alow you to change your name but not working for me...

Ive tried looking with installer but found nothing that will allow you to edit your carrier logo.

Try looking for MIM (Make It Mine) by Erica Sudan. I believe I installed it through Cydia. It will allow you to put text only in either your Logo location or Banner location (clock at the top of your status bar). As for dropping artwork in, then it might be possible through Customizer. hope this helps!

you will have to make it yourself in photoshop or some other editing program, or ask someone to do it for you..

Just download Make It Mine (MIM) from Cydia and then type what you want in the white box and then tap 'Carrier' and it will change your carrier to whatever you entered.

But don't you find that it turns off push notifications if you use MIM? After installing it, I was wondering why I was no longer ANY push notifications (on 3G with 3.0). Then I read a post somewhere that said that push will not work with MIM. I removed MIM and I started getting push notifications again.

Apple disabled Push Notifications on all unlocked devices one day before you posted that. They disabled all invalid ID's off jailbroken iPhones and those who paid for the no-contract iPhone are an exception to this change. Apple striked back, apparently.
