Daniel – You dont need Cydia to jailbreak your ipod. You only get cydia after the jailbreak.
Arvid – You get the option to install cydia after most jailbreaks but you can also select an option not to install it so that might be what happened to yours.

Israel you don’t need to anything with it but you can find resources for it (no clue why but lets continue)and like i guess if you got more resources you get a better jail break and unlock i don’t know i tried to help

honestly i’m not sure if it works for 4.3.1 however try it anyway…
