When you install WeLyrics, it will put an icon on your SpringBoard however, the only option in the actual application itself is whether or not you would like the lyrics on or off. When the lyrics are turned on, it will display lyrics to the songs playing in your iPod. To display the lyrics while a song is playing, just tap on the album art (the middle of the screen). It will take a second to download the lyrics. Once the lyrics are downloaded, it will scroll through them as the song plays. The current lyric are in white and the lyrics that are coming up are in grey just below the current lyrics. If it is not able to find lyrics for a song, it will either display just the title of the song or just leave a blank screen. You can also delete lyrics if it brings up the wrong ones. I did have one song in which it found the wrong lyrics. To delete them, just tap the little red trash can icon. I think this app is a very good concept however, there are a few areas that need a little improvement. I’m not sure where it is downloading the lyrics from but, I’m pretty sure it is not LyricWiki. This is because I found that it was only able to download lyrics for about 70% of my songs though, most of them are available through LyricWiki. I also found that it scrolls though the lyrics much too slowly! It doesn’t bring up the next section of lyrics until it is a few words into it…I would love to see it go to the next section of lyrics a few words earlier. Overall, this app has great potential. Everyone loves a lyrics app!! WeLyrics is available through the weiPhone source. [...]

Another new features it that when you are in the menu and you close the app, it will open to where you were in the menu instead of starting at the beginning like it did in the previous version. There was also a suspend/resume code added to the app which means when you get a phone call while you are playing, the game will pause and then pick up where it left off when the call is over. In my opinion, this app still needs some work. I think the accelerometer is a bit touchy. I also get quite a few random glitches and pauses while the app is open. I still think this application shows the capability of the iPhone and gives us a taste of what is to come with the AppStore. Raging Thunder is available through the BigBoss source. [...]

When the apps opens, you will get a splash-screen and then you will get a pop-up warning that this app is still in beta. You will then be brought to the main play screen. The object of the game is to get the silver ball to hit all the pegs. To release the silver ball, just tap the blue circle at the top of the screen. You can aim the ball by tapping and dragging which will display a white line showing where the bag will go. The game is not based on the accelerometer (so, no matter how much you tilt the phone, it will not affect the ball…trust me!). The silver ball will bounce through the pegs and off the side walls. Right now, the game does not do anything when you win it just kind of ends. You know the game is over when all you have left is the peg in the lower right corner. You have to close and reopen the app to play again. We will see what future updates bring. Hopefully we will see a few more levels, maybe a timer or even a score. poddle is available through the ModMyiFone.com source. [...]
