We are totally excited to add Justin (yes, another Justin) to the team! During the day, Justin spends his time as a professional photographer…seriously, how cool is that! He attended Des Moines Area Community College for one year before transferring to Hallmark Institute of Photography in Turner Falls, MA where he received a certificate of completion. Justin likes to spend his spare time playing guitar, shooting pics, playing Xbox and (of course) mastering his iPhone. Speaking of which, Justin stood in line for an hour and half on July 11, 2008 in order to purchase his black 8GB iPhone 3G.

When I asked Justin what his favorite feature of his iPhone was, this is the answer I got, “That’s a tough one… I like having all the info I could need literally at my finger tips and if not? ‘there’s an app for that.’ (side note – that totally made me laugh when I read it!). I like the dialog bubbles of the SMS app, it’s nice to be able to see the whole conversation without having to go through several pages to get there.” And, when I asked Justin what his favorite iPhone app was, this is what I got, “Actually, Pandora is quickly becoming my favorite app! I used to use my 80GB iPod classic at work but just recently I started using Pandora, it’s great to be able to listen to music that I like and also be introduced to new music at the same time… and thanks to Doug and jailbreaking I can listen to Pandora in the background while I respond to texts and update my Twitter :) ”

Well, we are excited to add yet another member to the team. Usually I write a little intro paragraph about new writers but, I thought I would try a different format this time around…Q&A! So, here we go…lets learn a little bit about Justin.

What do you during the day?
I work at an 8-9th grade middle school as a phys. ed and drumline instructor.

Where do you go to school and what for?
I graduated from a Bible college in Iowa and am now working on my master’s degree online from a seminary in Pennsylvania. I want to be a pastor when I grow up!

What are some of your hobbies?
I love music, mountain biking, and my mac.

Where/when/how did you get your iPhone?
I actually got my iPhone from a guy on craigslist. I have had a blackberry for 18 months and was looking for an option to reduce my monthly bill. I wanted something that would give me productivity at a lower price yet would still be fun. So I picked up a 1st gen iPhone. I didn’t have plans to activate it, just jailbreak it.

What is your favorite thing about your iPhone (app or whatever)
I love how it is user friendly. Most people, including kids, can sit down and figure it out in a matter of minutes. I have friends that have had their BlackBerries for years and still have no idea how it works. The keeper for me with the iPhone though was the app from Remember the Milk. I absolutely love that app!

I will give a quick run down. I’m pregnant (YAY!) and for some reason my body thinks that pregnancy is some sort of disease that needs to be killed off, leaving me sick morning, afternoon, evening, middle of the night…basically whenever I am awake. However, my body is finally starting to realize that pregnancy is here to stay for a while and is easing up a bit. Which means it time for me to get back into the swing of things! It is going to take me a few days to get caught up and get back into the routine but, in the next week or so AppleiPhoneSchool.com should be back to it’s old self…at least on the days that I’m not puking my guts out, or feel like I’m going to! :) We also have a new writer who we will be introducing to you guys in the next few days. So, that is cool! Enjoy the site and if you have a pregnant wife, give her an extra kiss!

We were inspired by the iPhone compatible version of thewiicast.com. We have made a few changes to the theme making it a little more custom. You will continue to see changes as we finish customizing it. One of the features that I personally like is the ability to quickly see all the articles. You can then tap the arrow to get a snippet of the article and the ability to read the entire article. We will be changing it so that when you tap the arrow you will see the entire article, keep an eye out for that! Below is a list of a few more great features this theme offers! Enjoy!
