Draw me is a very creative game in which you are given an image that slowly disappears you then need to redraw the images as closes to the original as possible. To help you in doing so, there are pins that you can stick in the drawing before it disappears to use as markers or references on where to draw.

The game contains five difficulty levels with 20 images within each level. You are only given a certain amount of pins and a certain amount of time in which you can drop the pins into the image. Once you have all the pins in and have selected Draw, the image will slowly fade away. You can then begin drawing the image. Once you are finished drawing the image as closely as you can to the original, you will be “graded” on how well you did. You have to get over 50% in order to pass. And, you have to pass each image in order to unlock the next one! The High Scores option displays your top three scores for each image.

I found the first level to be pretty simple and breezed through it however, each level does get more difficult and by the third level…I found myself trying to memorize the image before it disappeared and trying to draw as soon as I could before I forgot what the image looked like!! It definitly got challenging.

I personally was not huge on the sound affects but, they can be easily turned off. I also noticed that there were times when I was able to start drawing before the 3 second fade was up. I would also love to see the ability to re-place a pin that you have already placed in the drawing. There were a few times when I accidentally tapped the screen and dropped my pin in the wrong spot.

Other than that, it is a fun game that challenges the brain!

I do not normally write about updates to applications but, I was impressed with how quickly an update for Doodles was released and with the features it fixed/changed!

If you remember from my initial review of Doodles, there were a few issue with the ability to change the background once you had selected it. In the previous version of the application, if you used a photo as the background, you were unable to change it. Well, with this version, that has been fixed. You can now change the background no matter what it is.

I also mentioned that it would be nice to have a few options when it came to erasing objects in the doodle. This has also been implemented. When you select the Trash option, you now get a pop-up with the options to; Cancel (erase nothing), erase just the drawing, erase just the background or erase everything. This is a awesome improvement!! I did find one small bug and that is if you choose to erase everything, the background does not erase until you select another option on the lower menu bar…then it will erase. It is a small bug and not a huge concern.

I still cannot see my saved drawing on my iPhone. I can see them on my computer when I plug my iPhone in via USB but, I cannot see them on my iPhone itself. However, this could just be an issue with my iPhone or not a universal problem.

Oh, I did noticed that if you double tap on the screen, the menu bars will disappear and you can see/draw in the full drawing area!

Overall, a very nice update.
