It is based off the classic Monopoly game and includes everything from buying, selling and trading property to multiple difficulty levels to multiplayer mode (via WiFi or BlueTooth). LUMA, by Walt Disney, is a unique puzzle game. The game has a simple objective, connect the lighted paths by linking the nodes. As easy as that sounds, the game provides a challenging game play.

The controls are nicely designed, you are able to rotate the lighted nodes using a control bar on the left side of the screen. As you rotate a node the lines inside the node will connect to the lines in the next node causing it to light up. You continue to connect the nodes until you have reached the end.

LUMA contains two game modes; Adventure and Survival. The Survival mode is locked until you have completed all the levels in Adventure mode. You are also able to view any acheivements you have unlocked.

A few things to note. You may only rotate nodes that are lighted and you do not have to use all the nodes on the screen. You only use as many nodes as are needed to connect the beginning to the end.

I have to be honest, I’m a puzzle-gameaholic… LUMA not only provides the challenge I love to see in a puzzle game it does so in a well-designed, entertaining and relaxing manner. If you are into puzzle games, LUMA is most definitely worth the $0.99 price tag.

iBlast Moki, a very cool physics game, has been updated to version 1.1. The update includes quite a few updates and improvements.

Main features for the update:
- New completely redesigned online menu with new filters (filter by level designer, style, difficulty and featured by Godzilab).
- New Scary Halloween Mokis
- The Halloween environment can also be used when creating your own levels.
- New languages: English, French, Spanish, Italian, German and Turkish.

Smaller improvements:
- Added a button quit when you finish a level.
- Better item manipulation when zoomed in or out.
- New sound when timing the bombs.
- Fix crash bug when placing elements outside of the physical space.

As we mentioned previously, iBlast Moki is having a Level Creating Competition. The ten best levels will be selected and will be included “in their own dedicated world with new graphics for the next iBlast Moki update.” Here is a little more info about the 1.2 update.

“We are actively working on the next update (1.2) which will have new content, including 3 new worlds with their exclusive graphics as well as 2 completely new items with their own physics.

The rules
- You will have to create totally new levels with original puzzle ideas using a variety of items.
- We will select the 10 best levels we receive and include them in their own dedicated world with new graphics for the next iBlast Moki update.
- You can win multiple times and will get a 25$ iTunes gift card for each of your levels that is selected and published.
- You will also get your name in the credits if your level is selected.

How to participate
- Create a level with the level editor in iBlast Moki for iPhone/iPod Touch.
- Try to create complex and difficult level using a wide variety of items in the nature environment.
- You level name should start with XX so that we can identify it for the competition.
- Upload it using the online sharing feature in iBlast Moki.
- Take a screenshot of the solution and email it to contest at godzilab-games dot com
- All levels should be uploaded before midnight on Sunday 8th November 2009
- We will select the best levels, and you will receive an email if your level is chosen

Notes
- We won’t accept existing or similar levels to the ones already uploaded or in the game, so please make sure your levels are completely new with original ideas.
- The levels should be using the standard physics (not the water physics).
- We would like to see complex and hard levels using a wide variety of items.

Today, Lexic has been update to version 2.0. I very rarely write about App Store app updates but, this is absolutely my favorite word game. The update adds a new game option called Quest.

Quest adds a whole new dimension to the game. The object of Quest is still to earn as many points as possible but, in order to advance to the next level, you have to collect the specified amount of Gold letters (by using them in a word). That sounds easy enough however, you have to collect them while navigating through Bomb, Lock, Virus and Letter Switching titles.

A very nice update to an already superb application. If you love a good word game, this is a most definitely a must-have. Check it out.

Armoured Shift has finally hit the App Store! We first told you about this game almost two months ago. Armoured Shift is a “shoot’em’up” game for the iPhone and iPod touch that boasts 60 frames per second gameplay.
