Gameloft has been releasing tidbits about it’s new racing game Driver for a little while now with no announcement on the exact date that the app would hit the App Store. Aqua Forest 2, by Hudson Software, recently hit the App Store. It is a sequel to the first Aqua Forest game which is one of Doug’s favorite games.

Aqua Forest 2 contains two modes; Puzzle and Endless. The object of Aqua Forest 2 is to navigate water droplets. Honestly, I’m exactly sure why it is called Aqua Forest 2… it doesn’t look to be very similar to the original Aqua Forest game. You can pick up Aqua Forest 2 for $4.99 (the original Aqua Forest remains at it’s original launch price of $7.99).

LUMA, by Walt Disney, is a unique puzzle game. The game has a simple objective, connect the lighted paths by linking the nodes. As easy as that sounds, the game provides a challenging game play.

The controls are nicely designed, you are able to rotate the lighted nodes using a control bar on the left side of the screen. As you rotate a node the lines inside the node will connect to the lines in the next node causing it to light up. You continue to connect the nodes until you have reached the end.

LUMA contains two game modes; Adventure and Survival. The Survival mode is locked until you have completed all the levels in Adventure mode. You are also able to view any acheivements you have unlocked.

A few things to note. You may only rotate nodes that are lighted and you do not have to use all the nodes on the screen. You only use as many nodes as are needed to connect the beginning to the end.

I have to be honest, I’m a puzzle-gameaholic… LUMA not only provides the challenge I love to see in a puzzle game it does so in a well-designed, entertaining and relaxing manner. If you are into puzzle games, LUMA is most definitely worth the $0.99 price tag.

iBlast Moki, a very cool physics game, has been updated to version 1.1. The update includes quite a few updates and improvements.

Main features for the update:
- New completely redesigned online menu with new filters (filter by level designer, style, difficulty and featured by Godzilab).
- New Scary Halloween Mokis
- The Halloween environment can also be used when creating your own levels.
- New languages: English, French, Spanish, Italian, German and Turkish.

Smaller improvements:
- Added a button quit when you finish a level.
- Better item manipulation when zoomed in or out.
- New sound when timing the bombs.
- Fix crash bug when placing elements outside of the physical space.

As we mentioned previously, iBlast Moki is having a Level Creating Competition. The ten best levels will be selected and will be included “in their own dedicated world with new graphics for the next iBlast Moki update.” Here is a little more info about the 1.2 update.

“We are actively working on the next update (1.2) which will have new content, including 3 new worlds with their exclusive graphics as well as 2 completely new items with their own physics.
