Today, Wikipedia launches an official application in the App Store titled Wikipedia Mobile. If you are like me, you have been been using third party Wikipedia applications for some times now. The official Wikipedia app is very simple… we are talking the basics here. It displays your search results in a nice iPhone and iPod touch format other than that, not a lot of features.

You are able to go back to the top of the page using an arrow option, refresh the page and view your search history. That’s about it. The app is “open source and community built” and if you are good at JS/HTML5, you can join in the developing efforts. [Read more…]
