Page2D is a sweet hack that allows the SpringBoard to scroll both horizontally and vertically. This brings me back to the day (way before Apple came out with the scrolling SpringBoard) when we scrolled the SpringBoard vertically instead of horizontally. Anyway, this is a pretty cool hack that allows you to do both horizontally and vertically… allowing for A TON of page options. Check out the video demos below. Note the page dots on the bottom of the SpringBoard that help you keep track of what page you are on. I’m glad it adds the page dots because when I was watching the video, I was like, I’m sooo going to get lost in my pages!!

I have wanted a hack for this for a long time and I’m so glad to finally have it. I think it’s worth the $0.99. It allows you to add scrolling to your dock. This way not only do the icons on your sprinboard scroll left and right, but the icons at the bottom can do this too, independently. There are even more control in the settings that allows you to choose how many icons are on a page, if it scrolls with snapping like your normal springboard or just slide through them without snapping and paging. QuickScroll 2 – Quickly Scroll in a Page

We haven’t done a review of QuickScroll, an application that allows you to quickly scroll in a page, since it was first released. I received an email from Michel saying that QuickScroll 2 was much better than the previous version so, I thought I would take a look at it. He was right, version 2 of the app is very nice.
The mod now has quite a few Settings and options. The settings are located in the stock Settings application. In the Settings you are able to turn the scrollbar on/off, you can set the Tapping Scroll Track (so when you tap the scroll track it either goes to the next page or it jumps to the spot on the page that corresponds with the spot you tapped on the scroll track), you can set the duration of the scroll track from 1 second to 10 seconds (this is how long the scroll track displays before disappearing), you can set how you would like to activate the scroll track (single tap, two-finger tap, triple tap or scrolling – if you turn Scrolling on, the track bar will display as soon as you start scrolling in a page) and you can choose to disable the scroll track in specific applications. Action Menu – Adds Additional Options to Cut, Copy and Paste Functionality

Action Menu is a pretty sweet mod that adds additional options to the stock Cut, Copy and Paste functionality. The mod adds the ability to Copy All, Scroll to the Top, Scroll to the Bottom, Dial and Favorites.
Once you have installed Action Menu, it can be activated in your stock Settings application. After you have activated Action Menu you can then go into any application in which the stock Cut, Copy and Paste feature works and when you tap, you will notice new options on the Cut, Copy and Paste pop-up. The new options could include; Copy All which gives you the ability to quickly copy everything without having to Select All and then select Copy, Dial which allows you to quickly call a phone number, To Bottom which will scroll you all the way to the bottom of the page, To Top which will scroll you all the way to the top of the page and Favorites which allows you to add the selected text to a clipboard of favorites or paste text from the favorites clipboard.
The two features that I appreciate the most are the To Bottom feature, due to the fact that it seems to be the only way to quickly scroll to the bottom of a page, and the Favorites feature because it allows you to save text that you use often and then allows you to quickly paste it without having to copy it first. QuickScroll is now available in Cydia. QuickScroll is an application that allows you to quickly scroll in a page. We did a pre-release review of this application a few days ago… you can see it HERE.
The app is pretty easy to use. Once installed, you hold one finger on the page and then triple tap with another finger. This will bring up the box that displays where you are on the page and allows the ability to quickly scroll to another section of the page (by dragging the green box).
