Meu is a WinterBoard theme that contains around 40 icons (some of which are alternate icons), wallpaper, dock, statusbar, badges and a lock screen battery. The stock theme does not contain a Calendar, Stocks or App Store icon. However, I made a few icons really quick that you can manually add to the theme (see below). The theme does contain a .psd icon template allowing you to create your own icons. You can get Meu via the iSpazio source.

Adding icons:
1. Right click on the icons below and save them to your computer
2. SSH into your iPhone or iPod touch
3. Locate the Library/Themes/Meu/Icons folder on your device
4. Drag the Calendar, Stocks and App Store icons (that you saved to your computer in step 1) from your computer into the Library/Themes/Meu/Icons folder
5. Respring your device
6. You should see the new icons

Note: In order to get the Calendar icon to work correctly, you will also need to ssh the Info.plist file below into the Library/Themes/Meu folder.

Another Note: I did create an alternate Messages icon (see below). If you would like to use it, be sure to rename the Messages icon in the Library/Themes/Meu/Icons folder to Messages_original.png (or something of the sort) so that when you drag the new one in, it doesn’t overwrite the original.

How to Install a Theme:

1. Your device must be jailbroken. (how?)
2. Make sure you have WinterBoard installed via Cydia.
2. Make sure you have the iSpazio source installed in Cydia.
3. Search for Meu in Cydia, run the install.
4. Open WinterBoard and activate the Meu Theme.

Download the Info.plist file by right clicking and saving the file to your computer. You can then drag the file from your computer into the Library/Themes/Meu folder on your device – Info.plist

Ip_Vez is a colorful WinterBoard theme that contains 20 square icons, a dock and a wallpaper. It isn’t packaged for the 3.0 firmware so, you will need to ssh in to the Library/Themes/Ip_Vez/Icons folder and change Text.png to Messages.png. Also, the iPod icon is named incorrectly so, you will also need to ssh in and change Music.png to iPod.png. Other than that, a decent theme… it makes me feel cheerful and summery.

How to Install

1. Your device must be jailbroken. (how?)
2. Make sure you have WinterBoard installed via Cydia.
2. Make sure you have the MacCiti source installed in Cydia.
3. Search for Ip_Vez in Cydia, run the install.
4. Open WinterBoard and activate the Ip_Vez Theme.

Apple Element is a very colorful WinterBoard Theme…it reminds me of summer! The theme contains a wallpaper, lock screen background, 409 icons, Calculator mod, badges, sliders and a few other random mods. The theme is packaged for the 3.0 firmware meaning, if you are on 2.x or below the stock Text application icon will not be themed. You can get Apple Element via the BigBoss source.

How to Install

1. Your device must be jailbroken. (how?)
2. Make sure you have WinterBoard installed via Cydia.
2. Make sure you have the BigBoss source installed in Cydia.
3. Search Apple Element in Cydia, run the install.
4. Open WinterBoard and activate the Apple Element Theme.

The One Ring is a Lord of the Rings inspired theme. The theme contains a wallpaper, lock screen background, status bar, badges, sliders, lock screen battery, 79 icons, loading screen, calculator mod, dialer mod and basically an entire UI mod. Usually I do not write about themes that are based off thins like Lord of the Rings or Mickey Mouse or whatever but, this one is very complete. The only issue is that it is packaged for firmware 2.x so that Message app doesn’t have an icon. That can be easily fixed by sshing into the Library/Themes/The One Ring/Icons folder and changes Texts.png to Messages.png. You can get The One Ring Theme via the BigBoss source.

Alit is a WinterBoard theme that contains a wallpaper, status bar, dock, lock screen background, slider, 65 icons and badge. The theme’s folder also contains an icon template, a .psd file (you can get the file by sshing in and it is located in the Library/Themes/Alit.theme folder). The unique thing about this theme is that it themes all icons (except web clips and some random Cydia apps). If the theme doesn’t have a specific icon made for an app, it just themes the app’s original icon (see screenshots below). It even themes the icons in the App Store. If you open the App Store app on your iPhone or iPod Touch, while Alit is enabled, you will notice that even the app thumbnails are themed! It is nice to have themes like this. That way, all the icons are themed instead of half of them. It helps that it is a cool theme too…I really like the dock.

Vibration Battery is a lock screen battery mod…the battery that is displayed with your device is plugged into a computer. The mod is a cool 3D style “battery.” It contains 17 frames that change as the amount of battery life changes. You can check out the Download page on ModMyi HERE. Boxxy cons Theme is a unique theme made up of small icons. The theme contains a dock, wallpaper and 29 icons. Unfortunately, the theme is not packaged for the 3.0 firmware which means if you are on 3.0, you will need to ssh in and change Text.png to Messages.png. The iTunes icon is also packages incorrectly and is spelled iTunea.png and need to be changes to iTunes.png. You can find the icons in the Library/Theme/Boxxycons.theme/Icons folder.

The theme changes the size of the rest of your icons so that they are the same size as the icons created for the theme (it doesn’t resize web clips). You can get Boxxy Cons Theme via the BigBoss source.
