Soda – WinterBoard Theme

Soda sodatheme3 Soda is a WinterBoard theme that contains 40 small icons, 2 docks, 4 wallpapers, badges, and page dots. The theme does install an Extra Icons pack which can also be enabled in WinterBoard. If you are on the 3.x firmware, the Messages icon will not display corrrectly, you will need to ssh into the Library/Themes/Soda.theme/Icons folder and change Text.png to Messages.png. I also noticed that there were a few alternate icons in the Library/Themes/Soda.theme/Icons folder folder. So, you can always check those out as well.

The theme does include a template for the icons (.psd file). If you open the Read Me file, you will find instructions on how to use the template. You can get Soda via the modmyi source. [Read more…]

Pitseleh – WinterBoard Theme (iNav)

Pitseleh pitselehtheme9 It has been a while since I have written about an iNav inspired theme. This is due to the fact that I haven’t seen any that I have liked lately and, it takes a really nice iNav theme for me to actually install it and take the time to set it up. Pitseleh is a extrememly well designed iNav theme, one worth the 30 minutes it take to set it up! Not only is it well designed, it comes with a few mods besides just the icons. It also contains badges, lock background, sliders, dialer, calculator, dock, wallpaper, status bar… etc. You can get the Pitseleh theme via the MacCiti source. iFall Theme – WinterBoard Theme

iFall Theme ifalltheme2 iFall Theme is a theme that contains 35 gray icons, a wallpaper, dock, slider, page dots and status bar. The theme is missing a Maps icon. I checked the file for the theme and it doesn’t seem to include one which is kind of a bummer. The More Info for the theme says that there is a .psd file (template) but, I could find one. iNaise – WinterBoard Theme

iNaise inaisetheme3 iNaise is a WinterBoard theme that contains a dock, 3 wallpapers, badges and 37 icons. The thing I like about this theme is that the icons aren’t so styled that you cant use the WeatherIcon mod, you can still have the WeatherIcon mod activated and the theme will look decent. One catch, if you are on the 3.0 firmware, you will need to shh into the Library/Themes/Inaise/Icons folder and change Text.png to Messages.png. You can get iNaise via the MacCiti source. Oscuro 3.0 – WinterBoard Theme

Oscuro 3.0 oscuro302 Oscuro 3.0 is a dark WinterBoard theme that contains 39 icons, dock, wallpaper, lock screen background, sliders, badges, lock screen battery, weather theme and a few other mods. The only problem with this theme is that it really needs to stay on a black background for the icons to display correctly. You can change the background but, it is pretty difficult to see the icons if you do. One good thing about the theme is that it contains a template for the icons (a .psd file). Steampunk – WinterBoard Theme

Steampunk steampunk3 Steampunk is a WinterBoard theme that contains 217 icons, a dock, badges, sliders, lock screen battery, lock screen background, wallpaper…etc. Due to the design of the dock, the theme looks the best with only three rows of icons or four rows of icons without the icon label’s turned off. Also, this is an Italian theme so, many of the icons need to be renamed (see list below for details). Other than that, it does contain some pretty cool icons. How to Install

1. Your device must be jailbroken. (how?)
2. Make sure you have WinterBoard installed via Cydia.
2. Make sure you have the iSpazio source installed in Cydia.
3. Search for oGn v3 in Cydia, run the install.

Ghost Ice – WinterBoard Theme

Ghost Ice ghosticetheme4 Ghost Ice is a WinterBoard theme that contains a wallpaper, dock, sliders, lock screen background, 42 icons, lock screen battery and a few other small mods. As with most themes, this one does take a little ssh work to get it to look completely correct. Because this theme is from a primarily French repository, some of the icons need to be renamed (from French to English). You can ssh into the Library/Themes/Ghost-Ice.theme/Icons folder and rename the following three icons; Calendrier to Calendar, Horloge to Clock and Appareil photo to Camera. Revolver Remix – WinterBoard Theme

Revolver Remiximg_0666 Revolver Remix is a updated version of the original theme. It contains icons, wallpaper, sliders, badges, lock screen battery and a full UI. The theme has a purple UI and nicely designed icons. You can get Revolver Remix via the modmyi source.

How to Install

1. Your device must be jailbroken. (how?)
2. Make sure you have WinterBoard installed via Cydia.
2. Make sure you have the modmyi source installed in Cydia.
3. Search for Revolver Remix in Cydia, run the install.
4. Open WinterBoard and activate the Revolver Remix Theme.

Cubez – WinterBoard Theme

Cubes img_1141 Cubez is a cube style WinterBoard theme. I actually received an email about this theme a few weeks ago…and now it has made it’s way to Cydia. The icons are little cubes (which I must say are very cute!). The theme doesn’t seem to contains a lot…some icons, a wallpaper and badges. The one catch to this theme is that you need to turn on Transparent Dock in order for it to look correct. This is because the dock is part of the wallpaper. iSummer Theme – WinterBoard Theme (SBSettings Theme)

iSummer isummertheme iSummer is a nice WinterBoard theme that contains slides, a dock, status bar, badges, dialer, pop-up mod, wallpaper, 64 icons…etc. It is a dark theme but, it is well designed. I did notice that the theme folder has an icons2 folder with more icons in it. So, if you are ssh savvy, you can ssh into the Library/Theme/iSummer 2.0/icons2 folder and copy out all the icons and add them to the Library/Themes/iSummer 2.0/Icons folder. This theme also has a matching SBSettings theme. You can get both the iSummer Theme and the iSummer SBS Theme via the BigBoss source. [Read more…]

Scour – WinterBoard Theme

Scour scourtheme2 Scour is a unique WinterBoard theme, nicely designed theme. I haven’t seen one quite like this. It contains; a dock, status bar, wallpaper, badges and 47 icons. There is one problem with this theme, the Weather icon was not packaged correctly and so you will need to ssh in (Library/Themes/Scour/Icons) and change the weather.png icon to Weather.png. Sam D1 – WinterBoard Theme

Sam D1 samditheme5 Sam D1 is a sleek theme that has semi-transparent icons. The theme contains; three wallpapers, a dock, 284 icons and some UI mods (though, I’m not huge on the UI mods). The theme in it’s original state, is supposed to have all blank icons except for the last column on the page so that you are able to see the wallpaper graphic. But, I don’t really like the wallpaper so I installed Carbon Wallpaper via the PwnCenter source and used it instead. Also, the Stocks icon is not correct. The theme’s folder contains an icon for the Stocks application however, it does not match the theme. Other than that…the icons are pretty cool. You can get Sam D1 via the MacCiti source.
