iPhone 3G and 3GS firmware 3.0 Unlock

The Dev-Team has released an unlock called ultrasn0w for the iPhone 3G with firmware 3.0. Click HERE to see the tutorial on how to install the unlock.

iPhone 3G firmware 2.2.1 (and earlier) Unlock

The Dev Team finally has an unlock for the 3G iPhone. It’s called yellowsn0w. To install it, your iPhone must be Jailbroken. Then, just open Cydia, tap the Search tab and enter Dev-Team. Install that source and then search for yellowsn0w and install it. Once installed, your iPhone is unlocked. Just uninstall to relock your iPhone. So far this only works for firmware 2.2 which has baseband 02.28.00. Please click here for more info.
