The ultimate application to install and update programs on the iPhone is the Installer.app. It is a program that runs right on the phone and does not need a computer connection to add new programs. It connects via wifi or edge to check for updates and download programs. First you must “jailbreak” your phone using iBrickr and then use iBrickr to install the Installer.app. Here is a video on how to install iBrickr.
