Jailbreak 1.1.3

Jailbreak 1.1.3 iPhone – PC or Mac (ZiPhone)

ZiPhone claims to jailbreak or unlock all versions of the iPhone. We have tested the jailbreak for 1.1.3 using this method and it works. Just download the most recent version of ZiPhone here.

Jailbreak 1.1.3 – from iPhone (Dev Team)

The Dev team has finally released the official 1.1.3 Jailbreak. Here is a link to the file: http://rapidshare.com/files/86954656/jb113.zip.

hackthatphone.com already has a guide out for it although the zip file above contains a readme file with instructions. We’ll try this one soon and let you know how it goes. So far, word is that Google’s Locate feature still doesn’t work…

Looks like the file is available in Installer via iPod Touch Fans Source: www.touchrepo.com/repo.xml

Jailbreak 1.1.3 – PC (Nate True)

– Start with a 1.1.1 or 1.1.2 jailbroken iPhone with Installer.app installed.
– Plug in your iPhone via USB to your computer.
– Download, extract, and run iBrickr Special 1.1.3 jailbreak edition here, here or here.
– iBrickr will determine what firmware you are running on your iPhone and make sure you can run the update.
– iBrickr will then guide you through the process of obtaining and modifying the 1.1.3 firmware (make sure to read everything thoroughly).
– iBrickr will upload the new firmware image to your iPhone. Note that this only puts the file on your iPhone and does not modify it at all, yet.
– When iBrickr finishes (should take about 10 minutes), it will tell you to go to Installer and install the “1.1.3 soft upgrade” package. Do this.
– When the installer finishes (this should take another 10-15 minutes), your iPhone should reboot with a fresh activated 1.1.3 firmware.

Jailbreak 1.1.3 – Mac (Nate True)

Same as above… but use this download instead from here, here or here.

If you have a 1.1.1 and upgraded to 1.1.3 then there is a downgrade here. This does not work for out of the box 1.1.2 or 1.1.3, only upgraded from 1.1.1 or earlier.
