We recently found out that Flipbook is running a contest. If you are not familiar with Flipbook, it is an animation application that allows you to create your own flipbook. Because I know many of you really like this application, I thought I would let you know about the contest…maybe you could win!! They are currently running a contest for the best Flipbook creation. The contest started December 25th and ends at 11:59 p.m. EST on February 8th. Below are entry details and what the prizes will be as well as a demo video of what is possible with Flipbook! Check it out! Oh, the best part is that Flipbook is also on sale for $4.99 (regularly $9.99)!

How to Enter: “To enter, review the requirements posted here, and upload an original flipbook to flipbook.tv during the Contest Period. The content of the flipbook must be family-friendly (i.e., if it were a movie, it would be rated G, PG or PG-13). All content of the movies must be the entrant’s original work and creation, executed solely by the entrant. The content of the movie must not be subject to the rights of any third parties, other than Sponsor. The content may not be offensive or otherwise unsuitable for Sponsor, as determined in Sponsor’s sole discretion. Entries not complying with these requirements will be disqualified. By participating in the Contest, you are granting Sponsor an irrevocable right and license to publish, use, edit and display any or all of the content in your submission, without future approval, without territorial, time, or other limitations, for any and all purposes, including, but not limited to, marketing, advertising, and promotional purposes. All movies or portions thereof used by Sponsor, will be credited to the original author.”

Prizes: “We want to see how well you can animate with FlipBook, whether you draw your movie by hand or capture it frame by frame with a camera. The best movie will receive $500 USD, 2nd place will receive $250, 3rd place will receive $100, and there will be 2 Honorable Mentions, receiving a $25 iTunes gift certificate. Upload your movie to flipbook.tv, and you’ll be automatically entered.”
