   Well, sorta – use Customize to turn off the visibility of SMS.app and then use SMSD instead – remember to turn on SMSD notifications.

   It works but if you “slide to view message” or “view message”, then it will take you to the standard SMS.app

   @Marco…Kristian has given you a very good answer. Once you have “hidden” your stock SMS app by using Customize…you can even move SMSD into the spot your stock SMS app was on your SpringBoard by changing your Icon Display Order in Customize. But, she is right…if the little pop up that you have a new text message pops up and you tap View…it will open your stock SMS app.

   @Avnish…they both have their differences…SMSD allows you to see the texts in Conversation mode which I LOVE and allows you to create your own custom quick templates! iSMS allows you to call the number of the person who send you the text and has the ability to add smilies to the text. They also have slightly different interfaces…so, it really depends on which one you like better…read both the posts and take a look at the screenshots, maybe that will help you decide!

   cant make SMSD(0.2.1) to work on iphone version 1.1.4(4A102). Tap on the icon gives a white screen and goes back to the home screen. can anybody tell me why this is happening and what can be done to make it work?

   WHY U DOESN’T ANSWER THIS ( FROM DWARAK )? U USE 1.1.4 FW TOO…..

   it works.
   Download form http://amrut.joshi.googlepages.com/
   copy the files into your phone.

   If SMSD does not work with 1.1.3, what software can we use to forward messages to multiple contacts? the stock SMS can only send to multiple recepients but could not forward a received message? Help please?

   Hi all, This application has been developled by Mr. Amrut Joshi. Latest version of the SMSD is 0.2.3Beta. I dont know why that has not yet been uploaded here, therefore, not viewable in the installer. It is my request to the concerned that please update the site with the latest version of SMSD urgently.     u can install iSMS.. work fine with my 1.1.4 FW
