Splitter is an app that allows you to split your bill between multiple parties or just calculate the tip amount on a single bill. I really like this app because for some reason I can’t take my bill and add 20% to it without taking an hour…so, I just open this app and it takes like 10 seconds to figure out! Ok…so, when the app opens you will see two option at the bottom of the screen; Group and Solo…to choose one, just tap on it. If you select Group…you can then enter the amount of the bill by tapping in the space after Amount of bill:, the tip percentage (you can just type in the number…it will automatically put in the percent sign) and the number of people you want the bill split between. Once you have all the information entered…tap Calculate in the upper right corner…it will then calculate how much each party owes! If you select Solo, you can enter the amount of the bill and the percentage of tip you would like to leave. Then tap Calculate and it will calculate the amount of the tip and the total bill with the tip. To clear all of the information you have entered, just tap Clear in the upper left corner. You also get a really cool affect when you switch from Group to Solo or Solo to Group! Overall this app is very user friendly and, for me, very useful!!
