There has been a version 0.38 and a version 0.39 of weTool…both released within the last day. The biggest change with the update is that is makes the app compatible with 1.1.3/1.1.4. Which is very cool. Also, in the newest version (0.39) there is an option in the preferences to Enable US Version (though it worked fine for me without the US version enabled). A few other small changes include…a new look when forwarding text messages and the About button how has info in it! Other than that there were a few bug fixes. weTool is available through it’s main source which is the weiPhone source. It also gets released through the ModMyiFone.com source…but, they do not have version 0.39 out yet. I did read on the developer’s site that people were having issues installing the newest version if they had the previous version through ModMyiFone.com…so, I actually uninstalled version 0.3.7.1 through ModMyiFone.com and then reinstalled version 0.39 through the developer’s source. It worked perfect.

An error package download failed appear.
You have to enable the US VERSION from the preferences….
Open weTool—->Preferences——> Enable US version ON——>Close and Open Again the app and it should be OK.

Mine still only show phone numbers. If I set it to on, closed the app, then open it again, still phone numbers. when i checked preferences, it was again set to off. anybody have this issue?
well i still dont get it, why i cant save sms to notepad. once when i try to do so the application crash.
actually it crashes only on some cases.
I tried it and it worked perfectly 9 out of 10 times.
is there any other app for sms forwarding….

how came I cant save the enable US version to work?? I am on 1.1.4. Everytime I set it to on, close the app, Open it again, still off.
Just installed this on 1.1.4. US Version always reverts to off, and it deletes recent calls in the app’s log, but these numbers in Iphone’s recent call log remain.
Any app out there that selectively deletes entries from the recent call log? I hate having to clear the whole log just to get rid of one or two numbers I’d prefer others not see. No, it’s not my girlfriend, it’s my bookie!

SIMPLY THE BEST, dont waste time with iSMS or SMSD, enjoy with 1.1.4
For those who can’t save, it is becos wetool does not have to rights to create a file called “weTool.plist” in /var/root/Library/Preferences/wetool.plist
I gave full 777 permissions to the Preferences folder and uninstall/reinstall wetool. The reinstall will create the wetool.plist file.
It works perfectly now.

I have installet weTool 0.39 and have iPhone 1.1.4.
When I forward a sms it says “Send Message Successful” but in reality the message is not forwarded at all.
Can someone help?

i have sent messages to the same person on several occasions and on different dates, then it is very tedious to go through the entire “text log” and delete them..is there any other method ??

I’m having same problem, package download error failed, but when I had 1.1.3 it worked fine, I upgraded to 1.1.4 I guess that could be a problem
