AiS Time for a new poll. The last poll was – How many pages do you use for organizing applications on your iPhone or iPod Touch? Below are the results based on when we added the poll a week ago.

* One (1%, 15 Votes)
* Two (6%, 94 Votes)
* Three (15%, 242 Votes)
* Four (18%, 282 Votes)
* Five (15%, 241 Votes)
* Six (7%, 119 Votes)
* Seven (6%, 100 Votes)
* Eight (4%, 57 Votes)
* Nine (7%, 120 Votes)
* I use the Categories application to organize my apps! (16%, 251 Votes)
* WHAT organize…who organizes their applications!?!? (5%, 83 Votes)
Total Voters: 1,604

I am totally with the 16% that use Categories to organize their applications! Though, it does seem to get pretty messy before I break down and start putting apps in their correct folders. I guess that is what happens when you download and test a ton of apps…things get messy! Doug uses Categories on his iPhone too. You can still vote on this Poll in our Poll Archive page. You can also vote/view all the past polls on the Poll Archive page as well. Below is the new poll.

Do you think the launch of the DROID will negatively affect iPhone sales?

    Upgraded to 2.2 and AptBackup didn’t work so I have to install all my things manually. :(

    Man, that sucks. AptBackup worked flawlessly for me and saved me a HUGE amount of time on this upgrade.

    blatz on November 25th, 2008 4:32 pm:

    Aptbackup should only with a complete restore!
    With an update it will not correct work thats written in Bigboss manual.

    I did restore. I followed BigBoss’ guide on how to use it.

    I’m not planning to upgrade, I have jail broken phone and it’s a pain to reinstall all the apps and change their settings. It has to be worth it for me to upgrade and there isn’t anything in 2.2 that makes it worth it.

    OOO…that is a big update! What do you think?

    jl500 on November 25th, 2008 8:26 pm:

    It’s almost like having the iphone new. I like podcasts over the Air a lot for example and the new Intelliscreen quick view IE very cool too.

    I am kind of impressed with some apps from the app store as well, like Bloomberg, Google voice Search, Facebook and the incredible Shazam ha ha ha. However I miss springdial and agilemobile msn (I think I can’t buy apps from the app store since I live in Venezuela) but the most complicated thing so far has been winterboard. I just want a blue springboard like my old one and cannot figure it out. I only manage to install complete themes :(

    I haven’t updated. I’m still on 1.1.4. I can’t let go of agile messenger. That’s the only app holding me back!

    Same here! I like my iPhone just the way it is!

    neresis on November 29th, 2008 3:09 am:

    Why don’t you try Fring and then decide?
    It was my favourite and I waited until it was remade (a lot of additional features were also added).
    And answer t poll:
    I am also on 2.1 and I think settings will be messy to set again. So not upgrading for now.

    Hi Brooke,

    I planned to upgrade using QuickPWN. Just a question, before using it, Should I restore to FW2.2 or just a normal upgrade to FW2.2? I’m currently in FW2.1.

    Very Easy to upgrade 2.2 (make sure u update all applications) then update to 2.2 then download Pwnage. Then run that pwnage tool. Its work for me. I have no problem with that at all. I upgraded from 2.0 to 2.2
