Poll: Will You Buy The New iPad?
With today’s announcement of the new iPad, we’re wondering how many will buy the new iPad from Apple? Let us know in the comments why or why not and what model you’re planning on getting. I am planning on getting one. Depending on exactly how the 3G data service works, I will get the 64GB with 3G but not activate it for now. Gonna have to save up first…
Apple Tablet Coverage
In my previous article I talk about the new tablet from Apple and the possibility of it running App Store apps. Hypothetically speaking, if they do release a tablet and it does run apps from the App Store (regardless of what OS or variation of OS it’s running) would you want us to write reviews and cover news stories about it? Right now I am considering it but I want to know what the readers think. Let me know by voting below. Also let me know in the comments what you think.
Would you like us to cover the upcoming Apple Tablet?
- Yes. (79.0%, 832 Votes)
- No. (8.0%, 83 Votes)
- Don't care. (13.0%, 141 Votes)

New Poll – Do you think the launch of the DROID will negatively affect iPhone sales?
It’s time for a new poll. The last poll was – What app do you use to get jailbroke applications onto your iPhone and/or iPod touch? Below are the results.
* Cydia (77.0%, 2,372 Votes)
* Icy (2.0%, 68 Votes)
* Rock Your iPhone RockApp (7.0%, 200 Votes)
* Installer (4.0%, 112 Votes)
* I’m not jailbroke. (10.0%, 309 Votes)
Total Voters: 3,061
Well, it seems that the majority of jailbroke iPhone and iPod touch users prefer Cydia which really doesn’t surprise me too much. What does surprise me is that 7% of the voters use Rock Your iPhone (RockApp). I didn’t expect it to be that many.
You can still vote on this Poll in our Poll Archive page. You can also vote/view all the past polls on the Poll Archive page as well.
The next poll was inspired by tomorrow’s launch of the Motorola DROID.
Do you think the launch of the DROID will negatively affect iPhone sales?
- Yes (16.0%, 111 Votes)
- No (55.0%, 392 Votes)
- Either way, competition is a good thing! (29.0%, 209 Votes)
Total Voters: 712
New Poll – What app do you use to get jailbroke applications onto your iPhone and/or iPod touch?
Time for a new poll. The last poll was – Do you use the passcode lock on your iPhone and/or iPod touch? Below are the results.
* Yes (46.0%, 485 Votes)
* No (54.0%, 559 Votes)
Total Voters: 1,044
I think it is interesting that this is almost a 50/50 vote. I still haven’t decided if I’m going to passcode lock my iPhone or not… at the moment it does not have a passcode lock on it. You can still vote on this Poll in our Poll Archive page. You can also vote/view all the past polls on the Poll Archive page as well.
The next poll I decided to do after some frustration about the fact that lately quite a few jailbroke applications automatically install the Rock Your iPhone RockApp when they are installed. I personally use Cydia and do not want to install RockApp. Then I got to thinking… maybe some people do use RockApp. Thus the poll.
New Poll – Do you use the passcode lock on your iPhone and/or iPod touch?

* Utility Apps (Flashlight, Units, Air Mouse Pro… ) (37.0%, 210 Votes)
* Weather Apps (WeatherBug, The Weather Channel… ) (12.0%, 71 Votes)
Total Voters: 572
It seems that Games seems to be the most downloaded type of application followed by Utility, Social Networking and Productivity apps. I would say that I tend to install games most often too however, the apps that I use most often would be utility type apps.

I must say, I actually chose quite a few of these options. One of the options that was a little low on the list but, I would love to see, is an OLED screen. Probably not going to happen but, a girl’s got to dream. I think we will definitely see More Storage, Faster Processor, More RAM and a 3.2 Megapixel Camera. I would love to see Video Recording, Longer Battery Life, Video Messaging and OLED Screen. I’m not even going to guess on the cosmetic change. I hear it is going to be a big WWDC so, maybe we will see quite a few of these new features! Though, I try not to get my hopes up…it makes the disappointment easier to take! Read more

Our two year old actually uses one of our old iPhones (1st gen)…we have a case on it and child proofed it as much as possible. It keeps him busy wile we are waiting for things…like at the doctor’s office or in a restaurant…he loves it! Even though he is usually very careful with it, I will admit that he has dropped it a few times (ok, quite a few times) but, it hasn’t broke yet! Read more

I do not disable my auto-correction though, I have thought about it many times!!! It drives me crazy how many times it auto-corrects the wrong word but, I love when it does auto-correct a word correctly…so, for now, I’m going to stick it out a little longer!

New Poll – What are your top five favorite features of the new 3.0 firmware?
Well, since yesterday’s poll is a little outdated already…here is a new one!
Apple actually did surprising well yesterday with the updates in firmware 3.0…there were quite a few new features added (check out THIS post to see them all). Some of my favorites include; copy & paste, push notification, spotlight search, the new options for accessories and peer-to-peer connectivity. However, I know a few of you are still waiting for those certain features (video recording…etc). Let us know in the comments what features you are still waiting for.
