iOS 4.3 Now Available

As suspected, the iOS 4.3 update was released today. If you are looking to upgrade to 4.3… you can plug your device into your computer, head over to iTunes and select the “Check for Update” option. This will allow you to update your device to iOS 4.3. Below is Apple’s official changelog for 4.3.

Remember: If you are jailbroke and want to keep your jailbreak… hold off on updating to iOS 4.3. We will let you know when there is a new jailbreak out. The Dev-Team says that the wait shouldn’t be too long because @i0n1c has a 4.3 untether ready. We’ll keep our eye out. [Read more...]

iOS 4.3 To Be Released Today – Should You Upgrade?

During the iPad 2 event, Apple announced iOS 4.3 and it’s release date of March 11th. However, rumor has it, that iOS 4.3 is going to be released today. The upgrade will be available for the iPad, iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4 GSM model (meaning the AT&T iPhone and not the Verizon iPhone) and the iPod touch (3rd & 4th generations). Below is a list of a few the features we will see with iOS 4.3.

Note: Like with all firmware updates, if you have a jailbroke device, you will want to hold off on updating when the new iOS is released… especially with the upgrade to iOS 4.3. Below is a warning from BigBoss.

Get $100 Refund on Recently Purchased iPads

If you purchased a 1st generation iPad in the last two weeks… you may qualify for a $100 refund per Apple’s policy (see below). This is due to the fact that yesterday, Apple dropped the price of the 1st gen iPads by $100.

Should Apple reduce its price on any shipped product within 14 calendar days of shipment, you may contact Apple Store Customer Service at 1-800-676-2775 to request a refund or credit of the difference between the price you were charged and the current selling price. To receive the refund or credit you must contact Apple within 14 calendar days of the price change.

Today, Apple announced two new iPad 2 accessories. The first is the Apple Digital AV Adapter. This cable allows iPad 2 the ability to display HDMI out.

iTunes Gets the Beatles [Videos]

So, Apple’s big iTunes announcement that we mentioned yesterday was that the Beatles will finally be available on iTunes. If you know anything about the Beatles and their history with Apple… you will understand what a big deal this is. With the news of the Beatles in iTunes, Apple also launched an ad campaign to promote the event. Apple I’m sure most of you have already heard about the fact that Apple has released their App Store Guidelines (especially since I know you all watched episode 19 of i101!) but, just in case you haven’t I thought I would mention on AiS too.
