youtube Ok, I’m sorry, but this guy totally cracks me up. With just a few days until I have baby #3 (yes, it is currently nameless… we are working on that!)… I could definitely use a good laugh and this video did the trick! Not only is the guy just funny but, I love what he says at the end of the video. I also think it’s hillarious that Apple opened their press conference today with this video. I’m sure many of you have already seen it but if you haven’t… totally worth checking out (video below).

AppleToday Apple announced that they would provide a free iPhone case to all iPhone owners to temporarily resolve the antenna problems. Anyone who has purchased a bumper case from Apple will receive a refund. If you haven’t gotten one yet, you’ll get one for free. Apple will also be providing a few cases from other manufactures since they will not be able keep up with the demand for Apple’s bumpers. We’re not sure yet what will happen if you bought your iPhone case from someone like AT&T. We also aren’t sure if the refund will be cash or in store credit at the Apple Store like they did with the 1st Gen iPhone after lowering the price $200 and refunding $100 in store credit. Apple will have more details on how to get your free case or refund within the next week.

iPad Cases

AppleI got an official iPad case from Apple for Father’s Day yesterday. Unfortunately, it won’t be here for 2-4 weeks because they are back ordered. I’ve heard mixed reviews on the case but I thought I would try it out for myself or I would never know how it works for me. I’ve also been looking around at other cases. I like a lot of things about the case from Apple from what I’ve seen, but I would like a case that doesn’t have a flap that I have to open every time I want to use my iPad. On the other hand, I want to protect it, both front and back, from nicks and scratches. Right now I use no case and carry my iPad in this messenger bag from Aéropostale:

Mine’s a light tan, but you get the point. I like having a bag for it because I can keep a charger, headphones, external batteries for my iPhone, and other accessories. I still want a case for my iPad, mostly for two things: grip and scratch protection front and back. I really do not want a film screen protector. I like directly interfacing with the glass. The Apple case would protect the case and give it grip but I just don’t know if I like the flap being in the way while I’m using it. So, yesterday, I was talking with a friend about cases and he was saying how he only uses Otterbox. I thought how sweet that would be to have an Otterbox case for the iPad. Read more

AppleToday should be the big day for the new iPhone to be released. The WWDC, World Wide Developers Conference, is where the other iPhones have been announced and revealed. Of course, this time there was a major leak and we already know what the phone will look like. I’m gonna vote on the name iPhone HD. With the higher resolution screen and higher megapixel camera this makes me think iPhone High Definition sounds good. Read more

Adobe’s ‘We ♥ Apple’ Campaign – “Apple’s” Response

Adobe If you haven’t already heard, Adobe has launched an ad campaign against Apple (who hasn’t!) in retaliation to the fact that Apple doesn’t allow flash on any of the iDevices (iPhone, iPod touch and iPad). Normally I don’t write about this kind of thing but, someone created “Apple’s” response to Adobe’s ‘We ♥ Apple’ campaign and I thought it was funny… ok, I totally laughed out loud when I saw it.

Below are both Adobe’s campaign and “Apple’s” response found over on issaco’s twitter.

Another 4th Generation iPhone Found [Video]

4th Gen iPhone Oh boy, here we go again. It seems that another 4th generation iPhone has been found (this time in Vietnam) however, this one seems to be a little more polished and a little closer to the final version of the 4th gen iPhone. Unlike the one found in Cali, this one does not have the screws in the bottom next to the speakers and has all the info on the back of the iPhone (it seems to be a 16GB version).

Below are a few pics via Gizmodo and a video showing more of the detail of the iPhone. It was found in Vietnam so, I’m guessing the guy in the video is speaking Vietnamese.

Court Documents Prove 5 Year Contract Between Apple & AT&T

AT&TEngadget has finally found proof that the contract between Apple and AT&T for the iPhone was 5 years. That would mean no Verizon iPhone this year. But there are always renegotiations and all sorts of other ways Apple could have ended the agreement. Apple did develop the iPad to run on AT&T and not Verizon so this may also be a hint. I’m guessing that Apple will wait until LTE technology is released and all carriers use it so they can sell only one phone.

Here’s what I’d like to know. If you have an iPhone right now, would you switch to Verizon if they get the iPhone? If you’re reading this and don’t have an iPhone and are with Verizon already, would you buy an iPhone once it comes to Verizon? Answer below in the polls and let us know more by telling us why in the comments. Read more

##ICON_NAME## Apple has released a new iPhone commercial – Family Man. The commercial highlights the ability for the iPhone 3GS to capture and playback video as well as a few applications from the App Store (see list below).

I don’t know about you but, this commercial is soooo true for us! The grandparents really do like to see the videos, I totally use my iPhone all the time for cooking, our kids love to play games and watch videos and Doug uses his for everything (I’ve seen that guy do some pretty crazy things from his iPhone)… I’m pretty sure it never leaves his hands.

The Case of the “Lost” iPhone 4G

##ICON_NAME## So, as many of you well know… Apple’s 4th generation iPhone has made it’s debut a little early. Personally, I’m a skeptic by nature (more on that later) but here is what we know.

Apple employee Gray Powell (Apple Software Engineer working on the iPhone Baseband Software) seems to be the fellow who was once the owner of the lost 4th generation iPhone. On Thursday, March 18th, he was apparently celebrating his 27th birthday at Gourmet Haus Staudt, a nice German beer garden in Redwood City, California (which happens to be just 20 miles from Apple’s Loop headquarters) where he “supposedly” had a few too many of those German ales. In fact, his last facebook update from the 4G iPhone was… Read more
