We recently heard about a pretty cool application called Yowza!! Yowza!! is a location based coupon application. Not only does it display deals that are near your location, it also has the ability to display/scan coupons right on your iPhone or iPod Touch’s screen…which I honestly will have to see to believe but will be totally psyched if it works…I have always wanted to do that!! The app will also allow you to save previously searched for coupons in a “digital wallet” for future use. You can find out more about Yowza!! on their website. There is no ETA on when the app will be available in the App Store, though you can sign up on their website to be notified once it is. We do know that it will be free! So, that is cool!

Strange but true – Yowza is the brainchild of Greg “Grunny” Grunberg, who plays Matt Parkman in the TV show “Heroes”. He met up with the developers and designers on Twitter and coordinated the work there too.
